Philip pleased to meet you. I've met you through the Kyknet programme Spasie. I was intrigued by your dream and started binge watching your channel from the very beginning. I am amazed to see how both you and Mariki always popped back. Nearly 50 years ago my life was also changed by an anonymous sponsor who paid for my studies at university. I suggest that you have an exhaust gas temperature guage fitted. It will not cost much but will help you monitor your engine temperature far better than an ordinary water temp guage. You will immediately be able to pick up if your engine is starting to get too hot and allow you to prevent overheating.

I thought it was a 352 when I did see it first time but there was an issue that I could not clarify and then it came when the engine guy said its a 366 block and 352 inside...... But by the way the 352 with a turbo is a really nice engine and has proved itself for many years.

Phillip. Please check out that turbo conversion. Seeing what’s been done to that motor. Rebuild and keep standard - that home turbo conversion is gonna bite you. Rather go up hills slowly and count the ants next to the road. As mentioned earlier exhaust gas temps and turbos can give hectic headaches if not designed properly.
