The way Dineo looks at Solo as he's speaking. She so interested in what he's saying as if they don't talk EVERY SINGLE DAY. That is so beautiful and important in a marriage 💓 just to find your partner interesting.

Camagu. I am a South African based in Boston,Massachusetts. Watching your love and journey through spirituality made me realize that my partner and I are really disconnected and not aligned in both our spirituality and love language. This has nothing to do with the difference in our culture but it has a lot to do with our idea of what's really important in maintaining a harmonious unity. Whilst I believe in the quality of being concerned with the human spirit he believes in the opposite. Watching both your journey as a couple also affirmed to me the importance of working on yourself,resolving your spiritual chaos as a way to be in touch with your higher self(true self).Opening that door also opens up a better communication with our guides,ancestors,angels,others and the Universe. I love you both...Peace,love 💘 and light.

Mamm Ndlovu, the Apostle Peter was a sangoma/ medicine man as he was called. Research that. One more thing is that our ancestors are our angels. This is God in us, God with us and God for us. Trinity.

This has nothing to do with level of education. Maybe if you have an occidental education system (mainly eurocentric), then yes you'll forget your culture. But this shouldn't be the case. A European (catholic or whatever beliefs he has) will never forget his culture or customs and traditions within this eurocentric educational system. So, maybe the eurocentric system is not adapted for the african countries. But we definitely cannot measure your level of education with your spirituality.

First things first, when the Langa’s come to CPT post Rona (COVID19); a meet up for drinks would do. Secondly, I love how you’re open about your beginnings nge journeys zenu. Makes it easy to understand the process and respect it as it’s presented. My best friend and I grew up in church (ezoSindiso).... I was shocked to the core rather frightened to learn that she had become a sangoma after disconnecting with each other for a long time. I had loved her and still do; I had to go through the journey with her. Understanding the process and all. I may not be practicing any of it, but I have so much respect for ubuNgoma.

This episode has to be my favourite. Giving the respect to African Spirituality that it deserves. Serving our selves, being authentic to our roots and our origins is so understated. Being devoted to your religion and belief's whatever they may be does not mean you have to demean and disrespect other people's believes that are different from yours. Wanting to know your roots and identify with them also is just so affirming in the most authentic way - you dont need to apologise for it or be subtle just true

I think for a few of us who dont understand what spiritual healers are because of movies like shaka Zulu that villainified them ie sangoma or simply just failure tobunderstand our roots, theres so much ignorance and fear that surrounds ancestral spirituality. I think tv programs also have a huge role to play in the messaging of being gifted because a lot of the time when you see sangomas, it's always because someone wants to put muthi for someone. As a Coloured person, for a long time that's what I thought sangomas were there for witchcraft. Now because of gaining a little insight into the matter i know better. Do I still have reservations, absolutely because I still don't have more knowledge about this topic but also some black also perpetuate the idea that you must not mess with a gifted person, because they will unleash bad things on you... For me it would be fascinating to watch the journey of someone going through the process, from beginning to end. I think a lot of clarity could be gained by taking it from the dark and into the light... On that note, thank you for sharing your story

@@lindisithole4951 HI Lindi, the Bible that I am reading teaches me that I should approach God's throne with boldness and He will explain everything to me. I honestly believe everyone should have their revelation and understanding and spirit of discernment like the Word says. So that we don't just take what people tells us. After all Jesus came for the whole world not just specific person. And when He was asked what is the most commandments, He simply said love your God with all your heart etc and your neighbor as you love yourself. We don't judge. We pray for one another. We advise one another with love. However, when it comes to the Word, have a personal relationship with God and He will show you the hidden treasures. Anything that you ask, that is aligned with His word and you believe you have then you will have it.

I hear you Ndlovu and you clearly echo the couples sentiments but I don't agree with the concept that Christianity and worship of the ancestors coexist .The Holy bible,the same book of principles you believe in has a different take.EXODUS 20v 5 says,"You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation...." And the sin aforementioned in this verse, is the worship of anything that is not God.Any such worship but that of God automatically becomes idol worshiping and its clear to see in this verse that God hates such practices.Anything that exalts itself above God is doomed for destruction.So therefore,God and any other deity cannot exist in the life of one person.Besides abaphansi are dead elders right? Again the same bible says in Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 "For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. 6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun." So the dead have no portion on earth and can have no influence in the life of another ie increase,success,prosperity or growth of anyone .Therefore we must ask ourselves what powers we are tabbing into if not that of God by engaging in these practices. Is it the powers of light or darkness? My last point is pertaining to the ritual they're performing at the beginning of this video..I feel that even they have very little understanding of what they're doing because Solo keeps saying we believe IN IT.What is "IT"? Could it be that they are doing what their elders have been doing nje without really scrutinizing whats behind it? Mark 7 :13 Because of your traditions you have destroyed the authority of God’s word. And you do many other things like that.” Its very blurry

Love you guys ,not judging and respect.I was a sangoma and God revealed himself to me and burned idumba and everything to do with my sangoma life. I love my life now and free yohhh!!The fear,torture,spirits and not having freedom to live for me but living for the spirit was too much.

Not to say that's what happened to you but sometimes one becomes a sangoma when it wasnt supposed to happen. As in the spirit that has fallen upon isnt a good one or it wasnt suppose to or its the hands of someone else, my cousin was manipulated by inyanga to believe that she was supposed to thwasa but that wasnt the truth. With that being said to some people it really is thier calling and they really do have gifts and they pray to God and have God with them throughout and not separate the two.

You guys are so lucky to have living family that has preserved your African spirituality, culture and norms, and your able to appreciate the good side of it. For many other parts of Africa the only parts of African spirituality has only negative energy surrounding it and its something that's brings alot fear and not talked about. I guess in some parts of Africa all the good bits of African spirituality has been completely eroded.

We do not worship ancestors. We connect with ancestors. We ask for guidance & prosperity. Episode 2💗💗
@o.ghanylo617
@o.ghanylo617 3 жыл бұрын
How can you connect with the dead people, they cannot hear you. They cannot even help you with anything because they do not have the abilities or powers to do so. Your ancestors are either in Heaven (if they have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour before they passed on) or in hell (if they did not get born again before they passed on). However, there is only one person who has risen from the dead and that is the only one you should worship and connect to. His name is Jesus Christ and He loves you. He knew you before the foundation of this world, He knew you before you were born, he knows you now and he will still know you after you are dead. So, that is the right person and the only one you should listen to. He has created you and before you were born, He gave you a star to come and help his creation. That star is the one to help you to prosper, etc. That star might not be shinning in your life right now because of satan, and his demons in the form of the 'ancestors' you are trying to connect to have dimmed it. So to cut off or get rid of those bonds or chains that satan and his demons are using or trying to use to connect you to themselves, you need the precious Blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on the cross more than 2000 years ago. To connect to Jesus Christ you need to get born again. Before you get born again, you first repent (God will only enter a heart that is free of sin), get delivered, then accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. To accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, say the following prayer with all your heart (your heart is the contact point of God. Jesus Christ looks into your heart): Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Once you have said that prayer in your heart and meant it, your relationship with God start and your name will be written in the book of life in Heaven so that your name will be called in the judgement day. To maintain your relationship with God: 1) you must study the bible, every day (make sure that you invite the Holy Spirit to help you understand the Word of God). Invite the Holy Spirit every time you pray to guide you; 2) Pray all the times. If you don't know how to pray, say the Lord prayer (Our Father Who art in Heaven, ....) or simply just say "Thank You Lord Jesus" (it works).
