Awesome job on troubleshooting, and even better job on not getting sucked into "over complicating" an already intricate area of the project. I'm a huge fan of the "k.i.s.s." methodology myself. 👍

My favorite part about this video is the attentiveness to the comment section. Thank you for this build, and I truly appreciate all the time you put into your videos. Things like this really hit the giggle switch for me, so I love seeing it. Personally, in a world where computers are removing humans from the process, I find myself leaning more and more towards analog cars. This build is pretty analog lol, even with the EFI addition. Edit: hit-and-miss engine swap when LOL?

I learned that polarity mattered when the magnets flew out of the electronic distributor on our old VW. When I put them back in it had a miss to it. Figuring that out felt humbly rewarding.

Thanks for clearing up what happened. I would have come down in the "just build a signal inverter" crowd but the double trigger from the leaky magnet put that to rest. I like your solution!
