Great interview. Wolfgang seems like he's headed in the right direction. EVH must have really loved this guy to be as amazing as he is. Same will Willie and Lucas. It's one thing to be an incredible musician. But to be a incredible human being on top if it, that loves their kids in the midst of all the rock-n-roll crazed fame. That's true greatness.

saw Mammoth WVH twice on the GnR tour, he crushed it, did a good job, the songs rock harder live.

My brother & his 2 sons got to see the Foos in Geelong. Absolutely loved it. So sad that so much has changed forever.

I've seen Wolfgang twice with Van Halen, once with Mark Tremonti, and once with Mammoth WVH. I was impressed every time. I've very excited to check out the SA126 soon because I am attending his upcoming show in my hometown in May.

I wanted to respond since I have been a fan since the Hollywood athletic club show. It's devastating, and a lot of bands have called it quits when a super talent passes. Dave intentionally made Taylor the focus of the show for a lot of reasons but for him it was important that the drummer be noticed. We noticed. And it hurts. If you audition a new drummer, don't get a kid that can play Taylor get a somebody who can nail Kids of the Black Hole by the Adoleescents. Just that song and give him or her the job. But carry on past this and keep going. Keep going for Taylor because he lives through this music. Wish you the best. GO!

Great interview and i like his music and he has a great bass tone from when he played bass and remember the oasis lyric you got to be yourself you cant be no one else and i think what wolf is doing is great

Lovely person to hear and lots of great stories from a gifted musician with his own style. However, the way he mistreats people on twitter is profoundly wrong and he should apologise with many of them. The audience has always a right to have a different opinion, even if it hurts.

No. Its not ok to pick on the artist, chastise them, and generally be a dick to an artist on their social media account just for existing. He gets these on the daily and he absolutely has a right to hit back.

@@seeDerekNow Not at all. Most people have no interest to "dick to an artist on their social media account just for existing.". Given the age, most VH fans already have an established role in society, so they don't "need to exist" at all, but just want to talk music as their passion in life. That is laudable, since there is no economic interest and it is something that does not exist anymore in young generations. Responses are almost always blown out of proportion and largely misinterpreted as offences "to the royal family".

Does anyone actually know just what kind of 'drum test' Ed was using to see if his son had drummer potential? Something similar to see if a kid's got something?

Eddie put stacks of magazines on a table as if they were drums, kinda like air drumming only he used the magazines...Hope that made sense....
