If you put a near-death person in a sealed glass box, will the glass box explode, the soul trying to escape?The answer is no, because the soul is not a physical entity that can exert force on the glass. The person would suffocate in the sealed box, and the body would decompose and produce gases that might eventually cause the glass to crack. But this has nothing to do with the soul.
