Love the fuzzy pom poms! I too like crochet home décor. I've made several large mandalas in hoops for the wall as well as seasonal tapestry wall hangings, as you mentioned, one can only have so many cushions. The shawl is lovely! I've made bags with that stitch.

I’m completely obsessed with your Apache Tears shawl and am trying to do it on my own but failing miserably. I have the perfect yarn for it and am going to be laying awake at night until I can make it haha. I would love to purchase the pattern from you!

Your lighting is fine and you and your projects are just simply gorgeous. Love those scarves and all that colorful chunky fluffiness. Great episode, as always.

I have only given away two crochet items to non family. One baby blanket was loved for many years, and even for the second child. The other I have NEVER seen used for either her first or second child. I wish I could get it back and pass it on to someone who would have appreciated it!

Stroudy Shawl is a perfect name. Thanks for the fun rambles thats what make your cast especially personal. I struggle giving personal gifts because I always feel a bit of me goes with. Well I could chat all night, and I'd love to say more but I have to go and start yet another project combining yarns to make a bed runner. From California, Love You!!! ♡

I'm with you Lindsey, with regards to the friends thing and making thibgs for them. I also think as you do, I totally understood you there, also that feeling that you may be over thinking it all. I have no answers, the answers come to us in time when we've figured it out, just know that you are not alone. Xx

Thanks for a fun podcast. Loved your description of Stroud and agree with it, we live local enough to go to the farmers market especially for the falafel wraps - so yummy. The pompon idea is brilliant.

I completely understand about gifting certain people a handmade item... time and expense and LOVE, I'd like the item to be well received, or it's not worth it if they don't have joy in receiving it. friends would get jealous, so I usually gift handmade things privately, one on one if you know what I mean.

Hi Lindsey, I'm a little late getting to your podcast this time. I always look forward to seeing you talk about what you are working on. You are so creative. I love that your projects are different than what I normally see. That leopard hanging you are working on is cool. I need to make some scarves like you did with some of my extra yarn stash. Those turned out so cute! That Stroudy shawl is brilliant. Good choice of yarn. And, those loop stitch pompoms are genius! I think your lighting is fine. It looks bright and cheerful in your room to me. Take care and have a great week :)

Your Stroud/ "yoghurt weaver" comments made me laugh out loud, down here in Devon we have a similar place nearby (Totnes) that I love visiting and totally has that vibe...it's really hard to explain to anyone who hasn't experienced it without sounding mean but I love it! Those scarves have made me rummage through my stash for some interesting yarn combos : )
