As a radio aspirant Dj Fresh's interview is my favorite, together with Joe's. I'm only halfway through this and the most important things he's already implicitly mentioned are; ¹Appreciate your impact & exploit it ²Document your work & ³You don't have an imposter syndrome if you speak English fluently. I sell bananas currently & I've made a huge impact before I got cancelled, I didn't exploit my inspiration & influence while I had it & what this man has just said clarified it it's enabling! McG, you're doing the Lord's work my man. Bless

The fact that Hillbrow was once like Long Street in Capetown is one of the saddest things, now its a pit. Our government doesn't value the dignity of our spaces in South Africa. They can get it back to its state.

Most of the time i could see kids gathered outside of mcdonald just to get acceas from the free WI-FI. I dont buy data 95%only when i am home i get to use WI-FI. Most people cant afford data. Its a reality

So true hey everyone who cme after Dj Fresh sounds like they still sitting in... I've been leaving stations because they removed / Fresh left. Even Metro bores me now & 947 afternoon drive!!! My God!! Fresh has a good recipe for radio. Mixes were also what hooked me to him during 5fm days

There is an interesting way that Mabena conducts his interviews- besides it being a conversation and his laughter there are elements in his tone and voice that is so colourful, it makes you feel welcomed more like you are a brasse! Infact even uFresh does the same thing naye in his interviews.

All i m gonna say is... MacG is slowly becoming a superstar reborn... Even more than that actually. Podcast and Chill and Amapiano are the biggets things happening rightnow in entertainment. This podcast's authentic nature is what makes it stand out above all shows including those from TV and Radio combined. Its raw and fresh beyond any measure.
