Kelley Earnhardt Miller finds the perfect opportunity to teach her daughter the Earnhardt Way.

I did something similar with the oldest of my 4 daughters. I gave each daughter their first car. I gave my oldest daughter a really nice 1971 Ford Maverick Grabber that had low miles. She kept complaining that she hated that car because her friends disliked it. So, I took it away from her and she had to take a bus to school. I took the '71 Maverick Grabber, to my shop, and fully revamped it with a Ford 351 HO crate engine, repainted it, installed front and rear spoilers, disc brakes, and rear window sports slats. Magnum 500 15x7 wheels and I removed all Maverick emblems with Shelby Cobra snake emblems. 1965 Thunderbird sequential taillights also. One afternoon, I picked her up from school and nearly scared the crap out of her. She said that she wished that was her car, I told her to look at the car's registration because it was the car that she had rejected. 35 years later, she still has that '71 Ford Maverick Grabber and she maintains it herself.

Thats a nice looking car. If you just took a quick glance, it looks like a small 68 Mustang fastback. I'd take that as my first car.

Damn Kelley's a trip, good lesson for the kid she's obviously spoiled! I grew up being driven around in my parents 20+ old rusted out clunkers. It truly makes me appreciative of my now 3year old truck and 5year old car both I bought brand new. Growing up like that truly humbles a person and makes people like me take care of their nicer things in life.

Kelley, like her mom Brenda, is an amazing lady/mom. Teach her children by example experience.

My wife and I sat at a restaurant table beside Kelly and a young lady who seemed to be her daughter just a few weeks ago. Seeing this video is a good reminder that Kelly is a mom first. I believe Dale Sr. may not have been the perfect father (early on) but he was better than he sometimes gets credit for. My mother always said, "A hard lesson is the best lesson." Kids have it way too easy these days. Some old-fashioned "Earnhardt Way" might do them all some good! Entitlement results in failure. Earning, on the other hand, is so much more rewarding. Sr. understood that much about parenting for sure. Good job, Kelly! Never let your guard down!

Oh God I love it. I started watching nascar because of Dale. Was a huge Jr fan too. The more Earnhardt videos I watch the more I become a fan of the entire family and see that they are just a down to earth group of people. Love mamaw Martha and the fact that Brenda slapped Theresa. Yes.
@sergeantmasson36692 жыл бұрын
Shawn Cornell, Brenda did more than just face slap Teresa. Brenda whooped Teresa's butt and nobody else dared to intervene. If you re-watch that Dale Jr podcast, it was revealed that Brenda won that fight with Teresa. Most of the time, Brenda Jackson was the wrong lady to mess with. She finally had enough of Teresa abusing Kelley and Dale Jr. Thus, she put an end to it.

My daughter wanted a new Honda for her 16th Birthday. She got a used 2 door Chevy cavalier I got for $800. I made sure it had new tires and was in good shape. I told her if she drove it for a year with no tickets and no wrecks no issues. I would buy her a new Honda. She could not pick up anyone and had to drive it to school and any practices she had. About 6 months in she went and picked up her boyfriend. And than took out 100'ft of chain link fence as she slide off a wet road. She than had to ride a bus until I was no longer mad. That took 6 months. Than I told her she would now get a Honda. I gave her the keys and she went outside all excited. Thinking she was getting her dream car. What she got was my wife 200K mile Honda . I bought my wife a new Honda that happened to be my daughters dream car.

M Rad, I worked at DIS 1996-2006 as part of the security/safety teams. Dale Sr didn't interact with NASCAR fans much. Once at a track, Dale Sr mostly stayed focused on racing. If a fan asked him a question, they usually got a one word answer if any answer at all. Dale Sr was a man of few words.

Who would complain about a suburban. Since 1999-2000 suburbans or Tahoe’s are the cool cars of the middle class upper class. I mean what the hell did she expect to ride in? A G wagon

I had decent cars and trucks was never a problem. But me picking up my 6 year old daughter on my chopper 😮 holy chit you would have thought it was the end of the world. Id get thumbs up from the much younger fathers. I was 45 when most were 25-30 but the moms lost their minds DSS calls cops u name it. A guy did video us rolling down the highway my kids friends dad. Tiny kid little helmet, Dora backpack, hanging on my waist 😂 i didn't speed or drive dangerously. But guess it Looked funny on that custom bike loud as hell cruising down the road. 😂we always had a saying me a single Dad, and my baby... srcrew em! They cant eat us 😂
