I finally got approval from the surgeon for my knee replacement. I am going through getting g the certifications from all the doctors now before i can get it scheduled. It has been a long time coming. I hope you will be able to get yours soon as well. Nothing like knee pain and taking all the joy out of fun things! I think I am oomph going to stay with Shores at the moment. Although Ann Kirby does look cute . Pink has always been my favorite color. Hope the end of school goes well for you!

I love your Lady of the Flag. The colors are beautiful and you are making good progress. I’m glad you solved the problem of situating your frame so you can enjoy working on it. I’m making progress on the shores of Hawk Run Hollow. It’s being stitched on twenty count using one thread. Well, I forgot about the one thread while stitching the lighthouse and was pretty far into it when I discovered I had used two threads except the first few stitches at the top. I wasn’t going to frog all those stitches so I put it in time out to decide whether I wanted to quit, start over or enjoy the lighthouse as is. Choice number three finally one. I love lighthouses so it’ll stand out a bit more. I stitched everything else with one thread. This is the first time I’ve stitched on twenty count since the 80’s. I usually stitch on 14 or 16 count. I worked on it today and I really do like it. It was hard t put down. My three year old granddaughter’s favorite color is pink. According to her is it the right choice. I even went as far as to dye her underwear pink because my DIL couldn’t find pink underwear for her. I took my fabric dyeing skills and put them to good use. Go file those retirement papers. You won’t regret it. Have a good two weeks.

Hi Nancy, I am a frequent watcher, but don't comment regularly as I am watching on TV. I do make sure I 👍 each video. I love the look of your LOTF! I am doing her as well in the called for colors and really enjoy her when I get rolling. The problem is to get rolling as I have so many wonderful WIPs that she sometimes gets lost in the shuffle! 😂 I love that Pink box That you showed. Sorry to hear about you getting scammed! It happens to everyone! Happy to hear that you are getting closer to your goal so you can have your surgery! This getting old is not for the faint of heart-I go Tuesday to my orthopedist to see what is going on with my left knee-hoping he says it just needs a cortisone injection again but I’m not sure-UGH! I love the color pink! What a wonderful present from your daughters! You are showing great restraint not opening the Red Box! I don’t think I could do that! Your Lady of the Flag is gorgeous! Love the blue conversion for the dress! I agree you need to count and recount with borders. I wish though the designers would say if the border is consistent or not-I completed a border and it matched up which I was thrilled with but the border was not consistent on the pattern and I had to change where most of the motifs and verse were position-because my border was longer than the design called for. Fortunately the wedding sampler was going to friends who didn’t realize that it wasn’t exactly like the design that they had picked out.

So wonderful you were able to get a WOW Red Box, I was looking through mind the other night and still can't believe I have it. The Pink Box is a perfect gift for someone. And believe it or not I watched Helen D's video and purchased a book for the trees. Looks like we're thinking the same way...❤❤❤

I’ve had one knee replacement that was done twice, I’m the rare exception😂😂. I’ll be glad when you can get it done. Pink is one of my favorite colors

I totally agree with you about samplers vs smalls. I have some cute patterns for smalls, but I always choose to work on a sampler. Reproductions just call to me. Pink.

Even though pink is not my favorite color, the pink box is a coveted item! Enjoy the red box…I’ve completed the first one from the wisdom box. I don’t have a stash of fabric, so that has been my biggest delay on starting some of the smaller charts!

So good to see you. Glad you are going to take care of your knee!! Sadly I relate to your hack experience!! I had gone 73 years without getting caught! I was a few days out of a lengthy hospital stay for encephalitis, and they got me!!! Dang. We went to the bank and did all that. Sadly my insurance was canceled from lack of payment!! Yikes! But they let me appeal! And was reinstated. Whew!! Because on the 12 of January I went back into the hospital!! With encephalitis round two!! Only 20% have round two!! But all is well. I passed physical therapy, no longer a fall risk!! My speech is back. So much to be grateful for. Take care, don’t be such a stranger!!
