Another persons trash became a great mini potato chip border pattern. Yes this uses smaller potato chip fabric scraps, just what was needed to create an eye popping beginner friendly border (some people also call these crumbs). Two blocks make as many as you like to create the size that frames your quilt. Follow along in episode 49 where I reveal how these were used. Actually you can also use larger scraps to create a fun modern quilt design. Please let me know if seeing a layout would interest you.

I'm currently going through a huge pile of donated fabric with all kinds of odd shapes. I'm making potato chip sized pieces. I'm definitely going to play with this pattern.

Good points, they are crushed chips, or crumb potato chips - lol. I am making a batch to finish up borders on a few quilts. A new favourite scrap buster. Take care, Debee
