I’m not going to spoil anything on account that you haven’t finished the Clone Wars or have seen Rebels. The title of the episode is not referencing Ahsoka; her white lightsabers are indicative of her place in the force. The owl in the tree is super important and a reference to Ahsoka’s connection to the light side of the force. Grand Admial Thrawn is super important; a major villain and threat. Once you finish the Clone Wars and Rebels, you’ll understand how truly epic this episode is.

Did you know already that 40 Clone Wars episodes still exist, which weren't properly finished and released yet? As far as I know, they would have played out before the final arc of CW season 7. Seeing as it’s only explained once in a novel, here’s the story of why Ahsoka’s lightsabers are white. About a year or so after the Clone Wars, Ahsoka ended up getting hunted down by and Inquisitor, the Sixth Brother. Being lightsaberless, she ended up using the Force to make the Sixth Brother’s lightsaber explode and kill him. She then took the kyber crystals and used the Force to ‘heal’ them. This healing process turns red crystals white.

You are going to LOVE the lore surrounding Grand Admiral Thrawn, Alyce! He's basically the greatest tactician the Empire ever had. Remember that episode of Clone Wars where Ahsoka uses the strategy of turning the Venator on its side and luring the Droid capital ships in and then the fighters and bombers swing around from the opposite side and hit them from above and below? Well, that tactic was first introduced to the Star Wars Universe BY Grand Admiral Thrawn in the novel "Heir To The Empire".

Do not forget that Ahsoka is no longer the same as she was in Clone War, she is now around 45 years of age ...

That isn't an Owl it's a Convoree named , like most of it's kind Morai has a very strong connection to the force, but he is very special, since before meeting Ahsoka was the companion of the DAUGHTER and after her death he became a constant companion for Ahsoka who has some of the DAUGHTER life force within her after the DAUGHTER healed her and saved her life

They picked a really good Ahsoka in this. She is taller and a little older looking here telling us that this after the fall of the Empire and that she survived through all of that. Such badass. A good badass. Anakin would be proud.

The owl was Morai, the Daughter's avatar, and follows Ahsoka ever since the Daugther saved her life. You saw it at the end of The Clone Wars and its in Rebels as well. I recommend you watch Rebels then you will understand who she's searching for and why.

The one thing I don't like about Rosario's costume of Ahsoka is that her head is too small. At Ahsoka's age, I would have expected her Montrals to be bigger. She's basically in her mid to late-thirties, and I would have assumed that her Montrals would be taller, like Shaak Ti's.

For people talking about the age of the child just think that Yoda was almost 1000 years old when he died. If you figured that would be about 100 human years that means the child is about 5 years old in human years.

She is shown wielding two white lightsabers as in "Rebels". The Je'daii were perfectly balanced between the Light and the Dark until an intrusion from the outside disrupted the symmetry leading to a bloody schism. This was all Legends lore that is now being made canonical again it seems. Reaching out to other Jedi? Is a Luke cameo in the works?
