I absolutely love watching this gifted man Gordon Mote play the piano. I really hope that someday I'll get to see you in person. God bless you and your family always from 71yr old Gracie from Detroit Michigan

Dan, I've been subscribed to Uncle Larrys channel for about 7 years. Long before Corona lessons etc. I'm quite aware.

It'd be cool if you and Little Tommy did one of these KZfaq episodes together in his garage or at your house, just the two of you playing, improvising, talking, etc. Just a suggestion. Thanks for the vid!

You know, a lot of talented musicians say they are not "blessed", that they simply worked hard to learn their craft.. Well, I believe that there is a blessing involved and you are that blessing to many of us. God bless you, brother!!!

Gordon, finding you has been a blessing and a reconnection with the love of music and a reminder of what a truly wholehearted musician and human is and sounds like. Thank you, Sir. Showing you to my friends here in the Canary Islands in Spain.

Due for a tuning and take off the Bama shirt but INCREDIBLE PLAYING. Not surprised. Your reputation goes before you.

Love the series! I would be interested in hearing about the process of how you work with other musicians...they might have sheet music to follow so how do you know and learn the music when you play with others? Sorry if that's a dumb question!

Heh, Gordon. Your channel is a great blessing. Whenever you've played a passage of particular beauty and wistfulness, my heart keeps anticipating you'll kick into the intro to Hornsby's The Way It Is or Till the Dreaming's Done... and in this episode, there it is. With your story. Thanks so much.

Harbor Lights is also my fave Hornsby record, but I love your video intros! You have to get an overhead camera to show us that stuff like Bukovac does at the end of his videos.

Gordon, it would be neat if you did an episode in a studio where you recorded one of the hits you played on. You could play the song and tell a story to go along with it. Love your stuff. I became a fan when my dad introduced me to your work while you were with the Gathers.

Love Uncle Larry for putting you on his show. I now have a beautiful spirit on the piano to tune in to. How do you decide on what piano to use on what songs? What makes the timbre of different pianos? Is it the hammers, the strings, the wood?

Hey Gordon! Great episode as always. Maybe you mentioned this somewhere else, but what kind of piano is that? I know you were talking about how you like Yamahas a lot so I'm wondering if that is what you're rocking there at your house. Cheers!

Hey Gordon have them include your name in the title of all the videos "Gordon Mote Insights Episode _" That will help the searches. Also 2nd the request for the overhead camera shot so we can see your hands of the keys, maybe at the end of the video in the "lesson" like Uncle Larry. Love you, and thank you for taking the time to do this.

All you need is a selfie stick for the phone, if that's what you are shooting with. Have whoever shoots, use it for the overhead view. I'm a terrible piano player and would love to see exactly what your hands are doing. I've been following you ever since Uncle Larry did the first video with you on that Blake Shelton session. Love your videos regardless of the overhead view.

Hey Gordon, love the videos - watching from South Africa. Is there perhaps a way to have a closer look at the piano keys so see what you are playing and how the chords are structured? And by the way, that right pinky is a legend 😃 sometimes he just jumps on top of his neighbour 😂🤙
