Wow, hello everyone! Thank you so much for 1.5k, I can’t believe it! The next episode of “Week in the Life of A Lonely English Major” will be the season finale. Which is insane to think about because the semester went by so fast. We will resume the series for season two in the fall of course, but be prepared for (title of summer series that I’m not revealing yet). I do think that tracking small achievements and day to day task improves morale. Days keep going and it's hard to see the results but going back and giving yourself grace in the little things you didn't even notice you accomplished, Is what makes you realise that you are capable , marvelous and living! Now I just have to apply that to myself 😅. Also, I'M SO DOWN FOR A BOOK CLUB!!!

i found your channel around a week ago and I'm so happy i did. your personality is so real and contagious, these videos make me feel like im on facetime with a friend. I'm in my second year of University studying visual arts in Australia and this is after dropping out of highschool two years ago due to mental health. It's so fulfilling noticing your mental health improving though sometimes it can feel like two steps forward one step back, so be kind to yourself too when you make mistakes. Also it's good that you're standing up for yourself like on the train, and those randoms making comments are exactly that, randoms, I'm trying to care less about what other people think of me but it can be hard. Anyways I can really see you becoming a big channel so I feel special to be here from the start! Try to keep consistent and you will do it!!! :D :D

This really moved me so I want to say thank you first sharing this with me. I left school for mental health reasons as well and I remember feeling ashamed about it. I hope that you don’t feel that way, you did the right thing and don’t ever forget that. The “two steps forward one step back” line really hit home for me. I made a similar analogy in another video. I feel like now I’m learning to change my perspective on these concepts though. While our experiences with mental health may feel inconsistent or unpredictable, I’ve started to tell myself that life will never keep me down for too long and that ultimately everything will work out for me. That has been suchhhh a help for me idk why lol. But I hope it can help you too! If you need to talk dm me anytime. I’m here! 🩵

i’m so glad i found this channel- i’m also a 21yr old english (and dance) major, but i’ve taken this past year off to figure out my mental health & transferring schools and watching you just live your life and figure it out is really lovely. i wish you well on your finals & finishing out the semester!

Heyyy I’m so glad you’re here! This comment really spoke to me because I was in your exact position two years ago. My mental health has been an ongoing battle throughout not only college but school period. However, I do firmly believe it gets easier to manage once we begin to figure out how to tame our minds a little bit lol. I hope that when you do go back to school you keep in mind that regardless of what happens, your life is important and everything will pan out the way it needs to. 🫶🏾

⁠@@mkyultrai’m so glad to be here! it’s been a near lifelong struggle between the academics and the mental health (often one at the cost of the other) and i’m glad i was finally forced to take some time off and just heal. i think this next school year will be really fruitful for me (+ hopefully you too!) + i’m excited to rediscover my love of learning. thank you for your kindness
