I'm sorry to say this but the main reason why most South Africans don't go anywhere in life is because of the fear of the unknown and being pessimistic. I don't understand why people were so quick to judge an episode that had not even started ( at that point ). The Gems given out by Monde Twala will forever help me moving forward because I'm in the media industry, imagine if I was stupid enough to take the first comments seriously and not watch at all. Some people just want Podcast and Chill to be a gossip column, we fear change, growth and we are very comfortable staying in one place. Grow up, guys. GROW.

Lmao so I’m not the only one that felt this way about LA 😂 I’m a South African that moved to LA 5+ years ago. Geez it was a rough experience. Our culture, humour and just our outlook on life is very different. It was hard to relate to Americans this side of the world on a genuine level. Seems like so many are on a different level when it comes to mental health issues. They are stuck in a certain narrative that they created in their minds. It’s not about who you are that matters, but more what do you do. Whenever you meet new groups of people, they tend to ask what do you do more than who are you as a person. It’s about name dropping and your level of importance become associated with which circles you claim to be in 😂 It’s tiring and a vanity like chasing after the wind.
