►Lesson Description: In this lesson I am going to answer the question of 'why triangles'. Then I'm going to move on to talk about some of the 'OpenGL' objects that are used to program in OpenGL -- Vertex Array Objects (VAOs) and Vertex Buffer Objects (VBOs). It can be a little confusing at first, but taking the time now to understand these objects will help make sense of when we actually start writing code.

I was wondering how something like google map works, deciding the effect path etc, graph theory comes to mind, finding shortest paths, how a geographical maps are stored (structures, db) etc, "finding the nearest gas station to me", etc. Any books/resource you can suggest on maps related stuff in c++? thanks.

@reuben3648 first you need a dB with high definition maps, like what google does to scan the roads, then use that to first localize yourself, then look up the dB to find 1 or more roads that takes to destination, there graph theory will come play, shortest path, based on many factors like real time traffic jams etc.
