Episode 7 | Courtyards, Breezeway, Adults’ Retreat, Playroom + Secret Room, Bonnies Dream Home

6 жыл бұрынOne of the integral parts of the design for Bonnie’s Dream home was the different pavilions that open onto internal courtyards. She wanted there to be glimpses on lush greenery from every window in the house.
But she didn’t plan for her mid-reno room reshuffle! Good idea? #youbethejudge
EPISODE 7 IS CHOCKA-BLOCK FULL OF ROOM REVEALS:
+ Not one but TWO internal courtyards,
+ The breezeway that divides them - what’s that you ask? Yeah, Erin hadn’t heard of one either!
+ The adults’ retreat AKA the Nathan and Bonnie room #bringonthenetflixbinges
+ The boys’ playroom
+ The gym… or not.
And shhhh… there’s even a secret room - it was the one request Bon’s boys had in their new family home. But it might need a name change now we’ve let it slip! #thesecretisout.

this is definitely the most extra house I' ve ever seen and I love it. But all I can think about is damn who is going to clean all that space? I have a small apartment and sometimes I struggle!

My Flooring is just a hint dsrker than yours. I plan to paint the walls white and have furniture white with gold accents like a Parisian style. You Ladies give me ideas now. Thank you !!!!

Everything looks so beautiful but who needs 5 freaking loungerooms?! The kids lounge, the other lounge they made in this episode, the formal lounge, the family lounge and the lounge in the formal dining room. Seriously, that's just too much

I grew up in a family with four children and trust me all those lounge rooms will be used (we never had much space growing up and always wish we did). Especially if your siblings have friends over and you aren’t hanging out with them. You wouldn’t expect the other kids to just sit in their bedroom to give them space with their friends. It’s super practical and allows your children their own space within the house, not just their bedrooms. 5 may sound excessive but in everyday life it’s actually reasonable for the size of the house, and the amount of children she has.

Rich people stuff, you all are justifying it but theres no need people have to learn to compromise, you aren’t going to get everything when you want it in life, i share a room with both my sisters and a tiny bathroom with my massive family with only a bath, it teaches you to compromise in life

Loving this series! You have an amazing taste. My favorite thing about this project is that it is such an massive house but still looks cozy and inviting. Your kids are really lucky to have that beautiful space to grow up into! Can't wait to see how everything turns out

Another AMAZING episode. I so want o see the whole finished home, but I DON'T want the weekly reveals to end. Really, really amazing design, constructions and video-graphic excellence. I am from the U.S and had to look up frangiapani (ah...a plumeria!!!). What a gorgeous job ladies, you rock!!!

Apart from the cleaning that everyone is wondering about the upkeep for heating and cooling such a space will be humungous!! Every room has three sides connected to the outside!! Apart from the roof.... No heat is retained or transfered to the sides and to the other rooms... They will be selling it in 5-6 years for sure ... This house is more like an investment than a functional home..
