Weed is so advanced now and days that if you need to medicate the best way to do it with pot is trying different things. Different strains and types do different things for you. For example i suffer from chronic depression so i focus on getting thc-A percentage rather than straight thc. Indica is most likely to reduce anxiety and paranoia where sativa gives energy which can cause anxiety. But for folks like me i have too much energy so i get a lot of indica unless I need to focus then ill get sativa. Sometimes if it gives you anxiety try working out or going for a run its mainly a lot of energy build up.

I take hydroxyzine for anxiety at doses large enough to give minor effects but not a trip dose by any means and I remember one night I was having insomnia but it was kicking in after I took my night time meds; and I closed my eyes for two seconds and when I opened them I hallucinated a deacon staring down at me one inch from my face, and within half a second it was gone.
