Episode 8, Kununurra along the Gibb River Road to King Edward Camp,WA

This episode takes us from Kununurra, a couple of nights on the Old River, out to Digger rest station and a section of the Karunjie track, before heading out the Gibb River Road through several free camps,Home Valley, Ellenbrae station, Drysdale River Station and onto King Edward Campground at the turnoff to Mitchell falls. great videos guys, we were up there a couple of years ago and the roads hadnt been graded for some time, hence our trip was via tents, leaving the van at a park in Kununarra for $5 A DAY.

Hi Paul, that was us back in 2012, in swags with the kids😂. Decided then that we needed a van capable of taking us back for a lot longer. So glad we made the change.

On the Gibbs River Road a Jeep Grand Cherokee travelling with you. How did it go on the Gibbs. I am thinking on doing it next year in a JGC will be towing a Leader Xperdition 20' thank you Love the Videos

Hi mate, unfortunately it blew a shocker just north of Drysdale and had to limp back to Kununurra. He caught up with us again a few weeks later at Mt Hart but missed Honeymoon Bay.

the prison tree near kununurra has been proven that is WAS used as a prison tree,,, The one in derby has never been proven, and years ago the shire decided they did not care if it was or was not true, it was good for tourism... so in other words they know its a fake. but it makes money...
