Hi fiber friends! Welcome to Episode 9 of our studio show sharing the joy of naturally dyed yarn and fiber. Today we are talking about harvesting Weld - a natural dye material that we grow in our garden at the studio. And we pick up cormo yarn from Three Points Fiber mill milled from cormo fleece grown by Ruth of Westfield Woolies. (See episode 8 for more on choosing a cormo fleece). Linda is getting ready for vacation, and Michelle has just returned from one. We also share some finished objects, including a brand new (and free) design called the Sunmelt Shawlette. Of course, we also share what’s in our project bags.
As always, we would love to hear from you - what are you working on? What are you excited about? What questions do you have about natural dyeing or working with naturally dyed fibers?
