This song and video came out 2 years ago! In Kpop there are 3 main companies (SM, JYP and YG) that produce idols and idol groups; they have the most money and power in the industry. Their idols get everything they need for success from the beginning; expensive foreign writers and producers payed to make them stars and write them hits, huge music video budgets, the best cameras, the best hair and makeup artists, the newest season designer clothes not just for the stage but in their personal wardrobes, public exposure through top magazines like VOGUE and Marie Claire, nice big plushy dorms that they stay in that are much nicer than a lot of peoples regular homes in the most expensive parts of Seoul, articles paid for them, sway in the industry from their company that can help them get top awards and be looked upon favorably by the public. BTS came from what WAS (not anymore yay) a literally unheard of small company named BigHit Entertainment; while most companies have multiple groups artists and trainees going on because they're huge BTS are even now their only artists (there are auditions and trainees for a new boy group for the first time now but still currently BTS are still their only artists). They started out having to choose between money for the bus home or eating for the day; they could get food but then they'd have to sleep on the studio floor that they had spent 16+ hours that day practicing on. BTS (Yes the SEVEN of them) slept in 1 ROOM ! 1 small room at that that was literally just filled with bunk beds yes these 7 now grown men in 1 room and they only were able to stop doing that towards the END OF 2016 !! all of this is very recent even though they have ALWAYS been making amazing music and putting on amazing performances as you can see. 4 hours of sleep was normal for them and low hours of sleep like this still are with how busy they are they just sleep whenever they can like Kookie falls asleep a lot in the middle of things like getting his hair and makeup done and a stylist will literally have to hold his head up they work through sickness and tiredness every single day and that's normal in all of Kpop but for them it's at another level. They and Bighit have come from Literally NOTHING and built themselves up from nothing but literally just pure talent extremely hard work that has seen them collapsing and being taken to the hospital and genuine love always for ARMYS from the beginning. In their early music videos they had to use the staff and their own managers as extras because they couldn't afford them. Of course this is green screen the poor babies have done everything themselves from the beginning they came from poor disrespected and literally spat on by the entire industry to where they are now and now we are blessed to say that they have several hundred thousand dollar budgets for their videos and don't need green screen (unless they want it lol) and they can make them even more amazing ! You guys seriously need to watch 'BTS from Nobodies to Legends' by the channel xCeleste and nice reaction!

Dope is a MV the used green screen for. Like I said not a lot of green screen is used in BTS videos. But sometimes it is. It’s not like they never use it lol. I know I said they hardly ever/ rarely use Green screen Idk who said they never use it. Because they do. They never overdo it tho. It’s mostly in small quantities. I think for this video it was mostly for the transition of some of the shots. But it was used in other places as well. But most of the video was built sets and stuff so once again props to their team for taking their time and hard word to make such a wonderful set and help make such and amazing Video.

I'm really glad you showed all of them the behind-the-scenes because one of the reasons that fans tend to be so loyal in Kpop in general but BTS specifically is because of how hard the idols work. I was really pleased to see everybody appreciating the hard work our boys put into making great content for us.

There’s definitely dominos in Korea. I think people forget that South Korea is a first world country and i would even say that everything there is more advanced than the US (technology-wise, education, fashion, *fast* delivery service, etc). I got a large pizza with a friend when I was in korea last year and lemme tell u, their “large” is a lot smaller compared to the US and it’s more expensive. That’s why a lot of koreans don’t buy pizza from American brands since there are korean brand pizza shops that has both regular American type of pizzas and “korean” (their own twist) type of pizzas.

I know it's late asf but I hope you still read this. I think the green screen thing has smth to do with bts' budget. Notice how Dope was released in 2015, back then BigHit (bts' ent company) was still in a huge and I mean HUGE debt, and the fact that the company was small (no connections, lack of resources, etc) unlike other companies esp the Big3 (SM, YG, JYP) where BigBang, Blackpink, Girls' Generation, Red Velvet, EXO, etc are. It's different for BTS. They weren't always as you percieve them, they may be happy & successful now but their stories are that of underdogs. They helped their company pay their hundred millions of debt, alone. Man yall would get goosebumps on how these boys literally climbed their way to the top. That's why ARMYs are so loud and attached. We want them to succeed and be appreciated, we want their stories to be heard and their dreams achieved. They literally started from nothing and now has everything they dreamed of and more. So BTS' recent releases will mostlikely be absent of green screen, with more fame comes more budget. They are hard working dudes, but not everything was just given to them. I hope this gave you info on some things. I don't wanna say rest assured they won't do green screen again bc they rich asf now, maybe they'll do it again for time reasons or others. I lived in Korea 13 months and they have domino's, papa John's, pizza hut and tons of korean pizza places like Mr. Pizza .... Pizza sizes are different than the States..A lot smaller, but the selection of toppings is vast and interesting... There were many times I thought does that even taste good and it did! I miss korean pizza so bad! Sweet potato mousse pizza is so good!!
