After catching up with Wombi in Trial Bay, it's an overnight trip to The Clarence River and Maclean, "The ScottishTown in Australia"
We cruise extensively along the East Australian Coast on our 13 meter catamaran. Join us as we explore new cruising grounds, cross bars, fix all kinds of problems, ride out rough weather and live aboard for extended periods.
We even have a playlist that gets us on other peoples boats.
We hope that our videos encourage others to get on board and experience this fantastic lifestyle.

G'day, the Harwood bridge - It is a new perspective going under it... And the local Maclean Chinese is in my diary for my next adventure. Sadly, after a misadventure (face-plant on the deck), I am now promoted to an office job. Your adventures help keep all my past travels and great mischief fresh.

Thanks Dude. Glad you're enjoying the vids. Yep 18, 19,20,21 are in the can and will premier each week. That only really gets us started on our trip north, so plenty to come. The vids are a fair way behind. We are in pancake creek in real time. (Facebook is more up to date, but only short vids. Look for "Cruising East Coast Australia" if interested) .The weather is fantastic and the filming is ongoing. Thanks for watching and commenting Dude.

Stay safe mate, our good old Macleay river bar must be treated with the utmost respect, it can get extremely gnarly & plenty of way better skippers than me have come undone there & sadly a few have paid the ultimate price. Hi Norm,just a quick question mate,your boat is a Brady,is that a marine ply core glassed over?If so what are your thoughts on using the ply as the core,cheers mate.

The hulls are solid glass. From the deck up glass over ply. Its not a bad way of doing it. Upside Cheap, good density. Downside Heavy...Dry rot.

@@MotorSailingforOldDudes Understand. Just curious as to what locations on the east coast can be navigated with a boat with say a 6 foot draft? I'd imagine a few are completely out of bounds?
