Jem and the Holograms are heading to Paris to film their first music video. Kimber's not having much fun though since she thinks Jem is getting too much attention. Eric Raymond recognizes this upon her return and makes Kimber an offer to pursue a solo career. One of the Starlight Girls, Ashley, allies herself with the Misfits, while Rio continues to struggle with his feelings for Jem and Jerrica

I’d love a Jem reboot made for a more mature audience, but with the 80s aspect kept. The live action movie didn’t do this justice.

@@kstrofiiI agree! Keep it in the 80s. Jem is basically a soap opera in cartoon form. It had heroes, villains, ongoing drama, sabotage, secrets, romance, love triangles, music, fashion, explosions. In the 80s, the soaps had all of these things. Still do!

What I most hate and understand is this anime is what Jerica doing? She’s in love with Reo and she plays with his feelings by loving him in two different personalities, Jem the singer and Jerica the beautiful businesswoman.. That really weird.. and not good for kids to see..

Yeah, Jerrica/Jem was actually a bad role model for kids Say what you will about Kimber, but at least she knows who she is, regardless of how emotional she can be sometimes 5:43 Kimber was honestly doing the right thing here in almost telling Rio the truth

Uh. Yeah Jem, your band mates are a bit jealous. And rightfully so. The show is named after you, the theme song doesn’t even mention them. A little self awareness would go a long ways. Oh. And quit lying to your boyfriend. He’s saved your life like 300 times. He deserved to know who you are. That’s no way to treat a good guy.

Kimber feels jealous since she and the others are under Jem/Jerrica's shadow. If Jem could tell Rio that she is Jerrica, it's gonna be hard for him to think it over on how he feels about it the secret identity
