IMPORTANT As @todosdupos pointed out in the comments below, the battery I have is 2200mAh instead of the advertised 3800mAh. I ordered this board from Epomaker's AliExpress store (Not sure if that makes a difference compared to the website, my guess is that it should be the same manufacturer). Either way, you guys should check your boards 😬 Great board though lol
A quick little teardown to see the inside of the Epomaker TH80.
Seems to have a steel plate, all foamed up but 0 flex and plate mounted stabs

I really like that translucent top on the TH66, wished TH80 had that option too... But after I switched to some nice white keycaps, the white board looks 🔥

wow what a keyboard.. just received mine today, and the space bar right side was rattling a bit... under 10 minutes I disassembled it and re-assembly of it... this video was very helpful ...

Wait is that a somewhat a gasket mount I thought this was a carbon copy of nj80 lol, but is there any flex on it tho

I got excited when I saw it and then I started pressing down hard on the keyboard and.... 0 flex 😂 I think it's just limiting rattle, still nice though

I’m ordering this keyboard for sure, sounds really nice and this is my 3rd keyboard in my collection. Did you use the gateron pro brown switches?

Lol yeah, I’m pretty sure they’re like 99% the same. I don’t have a NJ80 to compare it with though.

what type of screwdrver is that cos i cant get mine off :(

It's a phillips (cross looking one), but you have to pop the clips all around the side of the case. I used a hard plastic card to pop it off in the video. Quite difficult to do the first time, felt like I was going to break something.
