Used to love my ES 11's in my modest first system with NAD 3020 and Rotel 955 CD player. Musical, detailed but never fatiguing even in a modest system

@@rompstar The Epos system was with me in '91. Moved on through many systems since then in the insatiable quest for 'audio nirvana'. The Epos system was simple and served in stellar faishon in my small living space at the time.

I have a set of these,.Great speaker,...Remember reading if the highs ever get 'tizzy' sounding,just "carefully" remove the tweeter grill,it's just magnetised on,I did,.they've never gone back on.x

So lucky inherit ES12 from 1st owner in immaculate condition after many years served him well. This gem capable produced good analouge vocal. Thanks for watching my humble video🙏

I used to have the prior ES11 speakers which I used with an Exposure XX amplifier, they were brilliant until they packed up after many years of good listening. Unfortunately I couldn't find replacement parts. I still miss them...

@@edwardbalboa5528 I am tempted when I see them for sale, but my Epos M12.2s have a similar sound signature, I'm quite happy with them, but I have good memories of my old ES11s.

Hi Frank. Nice video and what is your experinced between the Epos and Harberth since you have both in a well set-up sound room? Just curious because hardly to get by such a nice vintage speaker these day.

My personel opinion Epos es12 very good sounding. Very crispy, excellent sound stage, tight bass and good detail. it can be too bright. It works well stand alone but if to put side by side w Harbeth, Harbeth far superior. Overall sounding has it and more meaty and solid vocal, more realistic instrument sound compare es12. The price justify it all.

Epos ... Advanced drives need no crossover... Harbeth not as good ... Don't judge on price ... Listen

Es11 vs es12 which one u think is better?

@warriorwithin my personel preference is ES14 but you need more powerful amp to drive it to get optimum performance. Secondly ES11 is more analogue. Good for classic and vocal compared ES12.
