Yes that is how they sound now. Hoping it will resolve once broken in. But there is truly a great potential here and I won't conclude until 100hrs + playtime. In this video they had played like 30 minutes out of the box

Yes you are right ;-)! Well the Epos comes very close to Kudos and KIM. As a standalone speaker without subs I would choose the KIM overall since they are so powerful they dont need subs to fill a big room. (neither do the Epos, they go superlow, for some rooms they might have too much bass).. The KIMS are very crisp and resolving and a comfortable smooth listen. Amazing punch and quikness. They have great 3d and a very large soundstage. The Kudos have an amazing tweeter with enormus decay and reverb and also a great soundstage with a more forward midrange than the two others which portrays a deeper soundstage. They are also best of the three when it comes to 3d, but cant match the KIMs or The Epos for bass output. But that sparkle on top, pinpoint and layering is amazing.. Kudos will provide enormous detail without fatigue (which makes for a very pleasurable listen)! The Epos is a great allrounder. In fact it is the most dynamic of the three. I have not heard a better speaker under 5000 USD for sure. They have a very strong and impactful bass, more so than the Kudos and almost as good as The KIMs. They are not quite as open as the other two in the midrange (but they are not broken in yet either). they are very detailed and natural, but does not compete in the ultra detail sparkle that Kudos has or the crispness og The KIMs. When I listen to the 505 it is like it is raining diamonds! The only speaker I have had that did that equally as good were the Marten Design Birds. Then again The Birds are much much more expensive. They cost as much as the three other speaker i describe combined.. (still the best speaker I have owned if I am to be honest) The Coltrane 2 are better overall I guess but they overwhelmed my room. The Kudos 505 gives me equal sonic pleasure as the Marten Bird did I would say. At least with subs. As a standalone speaker the Bird 1 are just incredible.. Super rare and. very sought after. My biggest regret in audio was selling those..

. Well perhaps if a turntable were to be added, there's a good spot on that right side subwoofer. Yeah, on top of the sub that's a good idea.
