I print out the eiffel tower with a 3d sla printer, use walnut wood on the floor and drill holes for the rgb leds. I cover the wood surface with static grass. I use 2mm plexiglass for molding and fuse it with hot glue. I prepare 1600 gr of epoxy and pour it in one go. My ambient temperature is 22 °C, my casting thickness is 10 cm. Because I didn't follow the manufacturer's instructions, the epoxy got too hot and the hot silicones softened, causing the epoxy to leak. About 600 g of epoxy was spread around. To complete the project, I prepared 600 gr of epoxy and poured it again. In this type of work with two or more layers, the lines between the layers are evident. In order to prevent these and to be able to cast in one go, a good working environment must be provided and the technical data and instructions of your epoxy manufacturer must be followed.
