Epoxy resin and window stickers *trying new colours with Magicfly

Hey my lovelies,
In this video I am making some Snowy Epoxy Resin Baubles and trying out some new colours sent to me by MagicFly. The box comes with a selection of colours and I was happily surprised to find 3 different Blues as this is my favourite colour. I used the Blue Pearl in this video and it created an unexpected frosted appearance which worked so well in the Resin.

I used window stickers from the Pound Shop and I was inspired by Wendy at Toonpish Crafts with this technique. Who knew that we could use window stickers in epoxy resin? Window stickers in Epoxy Resin is not something I would have ever tried so big thanks to Wendy.
I also use some glitter by Hemway and some Resin from Vista. These will also be linked below..

Aww I love her/Toonpish channel - anyone who hasn’t been over there.. she’s a lovely lady & she’s so fun! I’ve got the pigments and I’m headed to find window clings 👌💯💯 these are so delightful Claire ❤️. (If someone doesn’t have any transparent Pearl pigments colors you can add some Macropearl from PearlEx or a Diamond Dust, a cheat, or a wee bit of either gold, red, blue, violet..of any interference colors. ~~Thanks for sharing your beautiful art pieces with us, it’s always a pleasure to watch you create 🙌🌹🌹🌹

These are all gorgeous. The tiny glitter flowing up the middle is an incredible detail, I'm glad that mistake happened. Now we need to figure out how to get it to stay put so we can see your original vision as well 😊

I'll be hanging round for sure! I use air drying clay and moulds. I demo them on The Craft Store here in the UK. I've used resin in the past, but only for speed and not in a decorative form.. Watched your moulding video too. Very interesting. Keep up the fab work!

Awww bless you. I use both Das and Hearty clay. I'm known for my clay work. On some moulds I found the clay to stick in the moulds... so I had a thought... freezer!🤣 Don't ask me why! Totally works a treat, especially if using moulds with frames. Love your enthusiasm on your video! Very fun and informative!

Claire, I have only worked with resin for about a year...i have a question, if I use resin that is 1:1, can i change the way it works by adding more of one then the other so it isn't so runny? or so it can cure faster? or does that not work?

Heyyyyy Holly .... no I'm afraid not. If it is 1:1 ... then it has to be mixed as 1:1 or it will not cure at all x ❤

I asked someone else about AC300 so I thought I’d ask you too. How would the results have differed if you were to use that in lieu of AC100 for projects, are they carvable ?

Hey lovely .. I believe they are pretty much the same. One has more acrylic or Gypsum that the other but results are the same... ive not used Ac300 so worth checking with Polysil ?

@@ClairesCraftyCorner polysil is the website you buy from often right? I’m not in the U.K. , I’m across the pond though 😆 I checked out the different types of jesmonite and all it said was that AC300 is good for beginners and more cost effective but it didn’t get into how it was more cost effective. So I thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask you since you have more familiarity with jesmonite and their distributors 😊
