This video shows the process of recovery of an Epson DX6 print head with a Print Head Doctor 14. This particular print head is clogged with a dye sublimation water-based ink. Fluid used: 3W.

I want to ask,, I did flushing on the yellow nozzle pole but why did the cleaner liquid come out on the black nozzle and can it still be fixed, I used an Epson L1800 printer.

Hi, isn’t the head shown a dx7 head? As that’s not a dx6 printhead, also I didn’t think it was save to use ultrasonic cleaner with heads with ribbon inside as it damages the ribbon “like the foil test” asking as I really want to try this machine with my dx6 head
