After hearing DALL, I think Artms will keep the angelic, whispy, layered and sometimes hyper vocals and continue experimenting with the instrumental side. There’s a Virtual Angel remix called Virtual.Angel.Eyes by Staikka and it feels like a really strong direction for the girls. Just kinda darker edm, but the vocals create a haunting contrast

I'm glad to see a video essay on ARTMS, especially since they made their come-but recently! They have more hands-on with their music, as well as fans' participation in song selections and content creation through the COSMO app. As a fan, i love the creative decisions made for their MVs and lore thusfar. I hope they do a better job in balancing the art and the marketing for their next releases (i.e. the Virtual Angel MV being almost unwatched by the GP for featuring flashing images despite having already released an Human Eye ver.).

I think that extra consistency the ae album is missing compared to the perfection of dall is artms have been planning this album for so much longer and the girls even revealed JJ has been holding on to butterfly effect for 6 years. No shade to aespa because they always do well and their hardwork is obvious from how much they improve as artists every era. Anyway, genuinely happy they both finally got full albums after 4-5+ years
