⏹The initial chapters of the 27th volume will serve as the beginning point for the sixth season of the My Hero Academia anime series, which will be produced by Bones and directed by Kenji Nagasaki (chief director) and Masahiro Mukai. The "Paranormal Liberation War" arc (chapters 258-306) will be covered; the first episode of this season will partially cover the leftover chapters from previous season, and the subsequent episodes will cover the other chapters in this arc. The season centers on the pivotal conflict between the heroes, who include U.A. High School student Izuku Midoriya, and the antagonists, who also include the Tomura Shigaraki-led Paranormal Liberation Front.
