Impressive! Awesome percussive sounds considering there is no noise on V2!

Are you kidding me!? Dude, this track is sick! :D I can't believe you were able to get that out of the Erebus. Amazing, glad I subbed and got that in my recommendations now :p

Damn. That must have been quite some work. I like the more laidback groove and analogness in this. I haven't listened through the whole track yet, so far very nice man!

Thx! That appears to be the dirtiest son of b I've ever seen :) I am in love with its raw sounds. And that resonance is unbeatable. Kicks are really FAT. DFAM's competitor :) Used its paraphony in attempt to make some beautiful things here, too, along with those rude sounds.

@@EY-zz7xj really good! You should unleash it on some harder minimal techno.

Yay the Greek Synth! We make these, olive oil, and goat cheese... Awesome style, deep. Really draws you to a different world. Really appreciate the more minimal-quiet parts.

Heh interesting. I was always sure this is a kind of a raw draft, until my wife said I should simply upload this to youtube :)

@@EY-zz7xj hey man, thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. If it isn't too much too ask, would you mind going a little bit into your creation process? I imagine you would make a patch, record some variations/loops of it, arrange it and then repeat this process until your arrangement is complete? How much editing goes into that? I really like your style and what you get out of your devices ... in fact, one of your videos inspired me to get my first synth, the dfam :)
@EY-zz7xj3 жыл бұрын
kreusellein hey man. No prob. My process is usually EXACTLY as you described it. And yes, LOTS of aditing. This was a few nights editing. But I am usually not rational and rarely optimize things, so I never rush. But my overediting (which for now I cant replace with other approaches although really want) has a considerable drawback: the tracks feel not “alive” and sound squarish :( This one is still somewhat nice compared to some other ones but still... so you definitely need a good balance between live recordibgs and postediting with a mouse and DAW. And I guess the only thing is to keep trying different approaches and explore the results and learn by mistakes over and over.

Where are the drums coming from? 😫
@EY-zz7xj10 ай бұрын
Hey, every layer/one shots are recorded and arranged in Ableton. Including the drum shots/loops/tracks. They are from Erebus, too.
