I never tbh expected that "never getting together" ship aka eremika would take such an emotional turn. Eren loving Mikasa back? it was a hell no in my dictionary. but look what chapter 139 revealed. Such a sad but interesting rollercoaster ride attack on titan was. Times were so good back then on s1. just fighting titans and mocking each other. No traitors, no wars. it amazes me, how simple the life was! what if mikasa and eren actually abandoned everything and lived together in their small cottage? dang.

Mikasa isn't the only one who cares. Eren cares for Mikasa deeply. But since Mikasa has been a strong young lady since Eren saved her from the kidnappers and that's a huge impact to him causing him to be so grumpy and cold. Eren has been frustrated to protect his girl.

He wanted to protect her because he loved her and because his mother told him to do so, But not being able to do that injured his pride and self-esteem That's why he used to get angry everytime she tries to protect him. He didn't want her to put herself in a danger or to see him as a weak man who needs her protection . But later he understood that she wanted to protect him cause she was afraid of losing him.

I started the anime in 2017, from the beginning I loved eremika's ship, but it was not very popular and many laughed or denied it outright. I got excited reading the last chapters of the manga and when I read the last one on 9th April, I cried a lot because the price for confirming their love has cost them their chance to be together. Many criticize the ending but I think it is simply because it focuses above all on "a tragic love that does not combine with the epic story." On the other hand, I think that Isayama could not create a better ending, making a bittersweet flavor remain in our hearts that will make us cry all our lives.

What was the point of the pregnancy subplot? What was Ymir's motive? The heck happened to the shiny centipede thing?
