For the pilots of the BF 109 F-4, almost nothing changes. Yaks-3 meets every game because matchmaking 3.0-4.0 for F-4 is a miracle, basically non-existent.

As a pilot of F4 I can confirm that having 4x Eremin’s yaks in every game is fun and If you don't wanna give the altitude you gained in 5 mins for speed just to run, you better start playing with yak teammate or try the K4. @@MrMrSpok

@@vipvip-tf9rw nah its only 109 airframe with one of the 1.7 bomber engine that forced "engineers" to give it that jewish nose killing it's aerodynamics, so in the end u have the cons of the 109 airframe with the cons of having engine that has 0 power

But since I'm new to the game (I'm reaching rank 6 USA in 3 months of grinding) and I'm on vacation: I literally did it without realizing it until day 7. For me a rank 3 premium plane is very very welcome!

@BlueLightningHawk But again, maybe if it were a rank 5/6 for 35k it would seam more reasonable? Maybe they should do a ranking of the points needed in the event depending on the rank of the aircraft/tank. I'm new so I can't complain right now....

As a bf player the Mg-151s feel like gambling. One time you give them 1-2 hits and they are dead and sometime they still flying next to 20 hits by it. The way the bullet behaves sometime is not so cool too in my opinion.

Yak-3 is arguably a 5.0 plane. 4.7 at worst. Even this event one. Prime example of why armament shouldn't matter for BR.

@@vipvip-tf9rw I was trying to make some use out of the VIDAR, i brought on the sale (it was the cheapest and im already at 7.7 with Sweden ground so), I tough haw bad a SPH can be... And it IS bad! Not my style; i don't long-range anymore at all; even with a lvl 60 expert crew the gun can't rotate and elevate at once (WTF); the HE often gets eaten by tracks, optics, and MGs (yea...); got a lot of helicopter kills tough with the poxi-shell. So my only SPAA at that rank? Than just went back to play naval and unlocked my 1st two Russian BBs.

@@vipvip-tf9rw I was thinking about one of the rank 5 Russian premiums as well, but i'm at rank 7 with USSR ground, and was trying to make a smart (or at lest a logical) "invest" . I did used the GE that came with the pack to get the Battle Pass.

In general. The Yak-3 is a smaller, lighter 9 with the same engine meaning it is better in every way performance wise.

as long as everything is reach able you're good bro, my advice is to learn about MEC and how to set it on your keybinds, you can watch the tutorial from defyn and adamtheenginerd (both of em were collab together).. and another thing, the only useful keybind that i copied from defyn in his tutorial video is to set the flaps down and flaps up seperately.. cuz by default if you press the flaps keybind during the fight you can only use the combat mode while if you set the keybind seperately for up and down you can use the takeoff or even the landing mode which is pretty a big of a deal Plus change the mouse right click button for "zoom" instead of for "tracking" if you not set it yet already

Instructor is autopilot, it slows your maneuvers so you don't stall or rip wings, but you could make crazy stuff without it

@@D0P1C3 There are some options, you can turn them off, I think, but mouse aim IS instructor, you can actually make more aggressive maneuvers if you use keyboard for hard turns and then mouse for precise ones

Rank 5 is where the grind starts getting tough for non-premium players they don't want any way to earn any free premiums at rank 4 5 or 6.

@@CecilioSprayetti Yeah I understand that. Gaijin used to give away rank 4 event premiums but they haven't done that since 2019 if memory serves. They also once released a rank 5 premium event vehicle but haven't done so since.

But legends of victory vehicles don't go to the market though, right?

@@PzIV-E Event vehicles can go to the market if the player earns enough mission score to get a coupon for it. Battle pass vehicles don't go onto the market though which you might be thinking of.

Go to Achievements/Legend of Victory: Eremin's Yak-3. Do/buy all the 6 tasks. You'll get a coupon for the plane. I think it ends May 20 at 19.30

It took 1.5 hrs per one star for me. 9 hrs of playing WT for the whole event. Not so much for a bit of OP tier 3 premium fighter.
