I think it is the acoustics. In my opinion, he exaggerates his voice in the regular versions of songs and does pick slides way too often. But don't get me wrong, I love Tom and his style.

I love how Mark doesnt make as many dirty jokes as Tom but when Tom makes the dirty jokes you can always see Mark smiling or laughing at them :D
