A few tidbits about this video: One: The song was produced by Christian Warren - who, a few years later, would rebrand himself as house music/neo soul producer Osunlade. Two: This video was directed by Francis Lawrence, who would go on to direct films like "Constantine", "I Am Legend", "Red Sparrow" and most of the films in "The Hunger Games" franchise. Three: The pregnant woman in the video is Tiye Phoenix, who would become a part of the hip hop group Polyrhythm Addicts a decade after this clip.

A timeless R&B song. No one sings like this now. Eric is so underrated. It is a classy, tasteful and sensual track.

Oh my God! Finally! This video has been so hard to find here on the Internet and I never understood why. Either way, I'm glad it's here. I remember when this LP released. It's 1996, I'm in the 6th grade and I'm no longer making steps w/ my big cousins. I'm maturing and getting into this new sonic of R&B. No more swing beat (New Jack). My big cousin introduced me to this LP and told me to listen to _Femininity_ first. That day, I barely listened to the rest of the LP because I was so obsessed w/ this song. That voice though. So beautiful. It's everything that a male R&B voice should be. He composed gorgeous songs and he was obviously fine (still is). I was always attracted to his falsetto because it has a rare quality of sustaining resonance in pitch and not sounding whiny or like a cartoon character. A falsetto made of steel. I can go on and on about Mr. Eric Benét all day, but to sum it all up, he's one of a kind. They don't make 'em like this no more.
