Eric Carr passed away 30 years ago, on November 24th, 1991. Although it sounds like a long period of time his presence has never left me. He was my dear friend and bandmate. My years traveling, working and playing in KISS with him, were unforgettable. Please enjoy my memories of this great man, and know his legend will always live on in the hearts and minds of his fans, family and friends.

Thank you Bruce. For 30 years Eric’s passing was always over shadowed by Freddie’s death. So glad someone still voices Eric’s legacy.

I saw him twice in '84, and it was all or nothing when played. Eric was one of the hardest hammers that ever played.

Great Tribute to Eric Carr. I always said Carr is the best drummer that KISS ever had. He was the reason I wanted to be a rock drummer.

Hey Bruce, I just wanted to say thank you for the Kiss years. You and Eric were such a good combo together. This is my favorite Kiss line up. Kiss is still my favorite band. You are a true talent. Thank you!

By far the best drummer in kiss, and a real human being who really appreciated his fans. Bruce you and Eric absolutely resurrected kiss, the albums you two played on together in the 80's and 90's helped define my own drumming and song writing. I've followed you since you were with Michael Bolton. I would honestly love to play music with you anytime brother.

Thanks Bruce. I met Eric in 86 at the ozzy Metallica show at Nassau colosseum. He walked right past me decked out just like Eric almost on stage. I said what’s up he was cool and excited to see the show too. I was also a kiss fan since 76 so it was a cool moment.

Hi Bruce, I saw Eric live 1980 Cologne, 1983 Offenbach, 1984 Düsseldorf and 1988 Bochum. Düsseldorf und Bochum with you on guitar. Can you remember, in Düsseldorf Kiss had Bon Jovi as special guest. This moments with Eric and you are still in my heart forever. Maybe some day you are back in Germany with your music. I will be there. Take care, keep on rockin' and all the best Eric

Thank you Bruce, my first Kiss concert was in Mansfield, MA on the Hot in the Shade tour. I am very thankful to see him and this lineup live!

Bruce have to thank you for your Eric Carr tribute. He was an amazing individual and drummer. I got to see his first appearance with KISS at The Palladium Theater on July 25, 1980. I was shocked how great he was performing, a different level of drumming compared to the original Peter Criss! I flew from Florida to NYC for the show because I was going to university there but I was originally from NYC. Been a big fan of KISS since their first debut album self-titled in 1974. May Eric rest in peace and may you Bruce continue with best of luck in your future endeavors! \m/

Luckily I got to see you 4 times and Eric 3 times in concert and I will never forget that drum solo from the Hot in the Shade tour with the electronic drums, coolest solo I have ever seen. I also have one of the white drumsticks from the Crazy Nights tour when you guys played Denver. I made a shadow box for it that hangs by my computer next to my Criss Oliva (R.I.P) autographed tour shirt when I met him in Dallas and it reminds me every day what a great musicians we lost way to soon. I cannot believe it has been 30 years. R.I.P. Eric. Great tribute Bruce.
