Well, reading the comments I will just admint I'm satisfied enough with 1 trick pony though I know the tricks, I don't think I'm able to execute it. XD But I do understand that if Eric wants to go further, he needs to have many tricks that not yet exposed. But if we are not the magician, talking is much easier than executed. This performance has brought Eric from backstage to perform magic on stage, so he value his own original routine. He may or can do other magic tricks but will always been compared by other magicians who bring it first, or even other fellow magicians. Sometimes we don't even sure which is the pioneer since magicians have been long in our society, and the magic keep evolving as their exposure. There is a reason why people like to watch a magic show despite knowing the tricks or not. So as long as it can still blow my mind, I will just enjoy the performance~

He changed the ending, in the original, the magician was punished and lost his magic due to greed, in this Chinese (censored?) version, however, the magician turned coins into candy and everyone was happy, the act ended abruptly and I was left confused.

The storyline seen in AGT (as new experimental discoveries are coming up, Eric is becoming confused, amazed, greedy and disappointed/regretful) is completely lost. Instead, catering to Chinese audiences (loudness and festivity much preferred) is the theme of the show.
