The Beatles wrote their own songs but couldn't sing to save their lives. Either way, it doesn't matter, so why use such pointless bullshit to have a pop at Elvis? Nothing against Scotty - and I can't imagine those early solos by anyone else - but no-one would have heard of him if it were not for his association with Elvis.
