Aww being a supernatural fan for so long we know how close the cast and staff were so finally seeing kripke and jensen together in an interview setting is so wholesome kripke really made the boys to do things he couldnt do in supernatural but added superheroes LOL! now i wanna see jared too in this show

kripke 's talent just shines through the people he hires. We feel their infectious joy. Supernatural wasn't shy about his political views and sense of humour, but The Boys is a gem. I can picture Kripke's devilish grin at the idea of having top-notch actors in over-the-top silly scenes for our guilty pleasure. Simon Pegg must have been pleased to be invited !🤣🤣🤣

@Shanks RedHair Im pretty sure Jensen is 6'2, coz Jared is like 6'4 - and you can really see it in a scene in season 3, where Jensen almost towers over Anthony. Could also be the way they filmed it of course.

I actually am a little happy supernatural had those restrictions tbh. I love The Boys don’t get me wrong, but I find it gets a little much at times lol. Supernatural was an easier watch and I started watching it when I was so young that I don’t think I would have been allowed to if it was anything like the boys 😂😂

he's talking about chapter 6, probably, because Jensen mentioned it at a Supernatural convention and that chapter is called Herogasm, there is a superheroe orgy and his character is naked, which is something Jensen's never done before

@@courtneylconover80 Yeah, I heard he always objected to "Destiel" being canon because homo-sexualizing Dean and Cass' friendship/brotherhood always bothered Jensen. That, I understood. But I never got the impression he'd be uncomfortable doing certain homosexual acts (within reason) for different. It's one thing being uncomfortable doing intense gay (or even straight) love scenes, but another thing entirely objecting to any same-sex stuff at all. I hope with Jensen it's the former not the latter. Do I make sense?

@@sw9618 Unfortunately, he's exhibited many anti-homosexual tendencies in his time at Supernatural, not just a vehement objection to anything Destiel (and for a long time, he banned that question at Cons, because his first response to it was so severe and angry, despite Misha's playful excitement about that question, it was obvious it was a homophobic issue). Remember, he did grow up in Texas. He's described himself as "center" politically. He has only shown complete unwillingness to participate in any homoerotic situation, including Jared jokingly being sexually playful with him. He's good until Jared would get close, and then he'd go "Whoa whoa...". So, yeah. I truly DO believe there's some homophobia there, but I think he battles it. As far as this scene he REALLY didn't want to do, Kripke apparently only slightly modified it and made him do it anyway. We'll see how that goes in episode 6.

People always fucking forget what gets chopped on the cutting room floor we never get to see, or the ambitious shooting schedule that they just COULDN'T get to. YOU go ACTUALLY shoot those scenes and come back and then fucking say that shit again. 🙄

Couldn't swear? The only word you didn't use was "fuck." Couldn't show the horror? It wasn't a horror. It was a "monster of the week" type of show. The protagonists survived and even were resurrected. Your idea of "horror" is gore. There was lots of gore. Almost every monster was a cannibal. Eric needs to watch his own show before he tries to complain about what it was or wasn't.

@@jeyrm Maybe the scenes Black Noir remembrers were actually initially to be shot, but they toned it down and made them animated. They were both pretty heavy. They both would have been very extreme if shot in live action

I’m thinking more along the lines of the sexual assault storyline with Gunpowder or maybe a rape of another character. That’s the only thing I can think of that would be “crossing the line” ya knwo

It was to do with the 3Some Soldier Boy had with the two old women in the Legends House in episode 7 apparently it was to be more graphic and he was to be in sexual positions with the 2 old ladies and instead they changed it ,so you kinda seen what was going on without seeing it so graphically lol.

I hated the finale, but it doesn’t even break into the top 10 worst series finales I’ve seen. I’m currently rewatching the first five seasons of Supernatural, but there are shows whose finales were SO BAD that I can’t even enjoy earlier episodes anymore.
