Former pro NHLer Colby Armstrong and Hockey Hall of Famer Eric Lindros met up with hockey trick shot specialist Zac Bell to get some lessons on how to create some magic on the ice.

Because there's a difference between people who can fool around with the puck. And those who can actually play the game. I'd rather see people who can actually play at an NHL level.

All these people saying this is useless. You ever see a player tip in a puck from the point? This is why. Insane hand-eye coordination drills. You can see video of Crosby doing similar stuff on the 'net. We've already seen people scoop up and shovel the puck into the net in live games.

Zac is super good at puck tricks. A lot of this is not useful for game situations but would be good for young players to practice and play around with just to develop puck handling skills. Lindros would be unreal in today’s NHL. Imagine a mix of Malkin and Byfuglien. Oh and he’s the toughest guy in the league. This is not a knock on the league today; the game is better than ever. It’s a league that would let players like Lindros, Kariya, Forsberg really show what they could do.

For those thinking "why isn't Zac Bell in the NHL omg" just look at the height difference and the fact that Zac seems to have no legs in those warmies. My man has world class skill and has for sure found his niche, but let's remember he is a professional entertainer, and just a good but not professional hockey player.

Bellzy.....makin a name in the game when a HOF'er is in awe of your puck control. I wanna see you teach tricks to Gretzky and Mario! Oh man, can you even imagine a player with their hockey skill and IQ combined with yours????? You know, with the importance in today's NHL of points won in shootouts, You should get a job as the shootout co-ordinator for some franchise.

So I used to play years ago as a teenager. I played mostly defense. These skills are insane!!! However game time situation, a guy tries to come through my slot concentrating so much on the puck, my shoulder would drive right into his chest and... you're assed out buddy.✌️

All of these tricks are worth about one goal a year if lucky and lots of falls on your keister when the defender plasters you. Good on Colby, but I’d take Eric’s size, strength and speed over gimmick moves any day.

There's no rule against juggling the puck down the ice. It's not high-sticking. Moreover, tipping the puck in MID-AIR is legal, and the game would the FUBAR is tipping became illegal. I'd love to see someone juggle the puck down the ice and score a goal. To see the NHL scramble. Not sure if there is a "keep the puck on the ice" rule or not.
