It’s God’s truth. He is the author we are the messengers. We don’t always have the answers but the Word of God does. We need to be confident of our belief by knowing scripture. Always be ready to give an answer and learn together.

The courage… and love… I’m seeing that our love is lacking the depth necessary to allow our courage to speak the power it needs. Help us, Lord, to love, and speak. Help us to really touch people with the same power that Jesus did. His enemies were those in the religious robes, not the common people. They are captives to evil ideas and we, like He, are sent to set them free. God, give us wisdom and love.

Absolutely BRILLIANT! I have been saying this for, at least, the past 8-9 years. I am so sick and tired of going to church on Sunday morning and hearing a fluff story from Scripture. Where is the doctrine, where is the theology, and now, what are we prepared to do about it. Yes, we are saved by grace alone through faith alone. The Lord has done His part, and now we have a job to do! What are we prepared to do about it. Eric Metaxas is saying exactly what the church needs to hear. I'm just a lowly seminary student in his last year. By God's grace and guidance, I intend to speak the truth.

That theology is missing is an understatement. Eric appears to be solidly in the Reformed theology camp that holds to the twisted view that "we're saved by faith alone, but the faith that saves is never alone." This is pure sophistry. We are saved by "faith apart from works," not "faith that works." Your fundamental error is that you fail to distinguish when Scripture is speaking to believers and when it's speaking to unbelievers. Reformed theologians are guilty of circular eisegesis. They read their errors into every text they read. Metaxas is one of their more vocal supporters.

Unfortunately the church I attend does not discuss any of the events going on today. I found Cornerstone Church in Leesburg Va. The pastor at that church is the greatest. He covers everything we are seeing in our world today. No surprise his church is growing rapidly. People crave to hear the truth which the vast majority of churches hide from us.

My wife and I left our previous home church because the senior pastor clearly stated he will not speak on the culture and politics during the midst of the 2020 riots occurring throughout the country. Thank God we started attending a church a distance away but our pastor is bold as a lion! As a matter of fact, Eric Metaxas spoke there about a year ago.

I remember watch a teaching by a wonderful Trinitarian theologian on GCI international around 15 years ago. He was asked the question, what do you see is the biggest problem in the church today? His answer surprised me then, but not now. He said, "Two things: People pleasing and approval seeking!!"" He was spot on!!! Greetings from Oz. Go Eric!!!!! C

Here in Australia we have just witnessed a believer (Andrew Thorburn) step down from a prominent job with a football team owing to his Christian faith & biblical understanding about abortion/homosexuality and the fallout is stupendous! Yep, unlike a lot of people who resign, Andrew didn't do anything wrong, and resigned on principle, and can hold his head high, backed by his faith. Now Essendon, rightly, is seen as an ogre of a club. They will bounce back...when, we won't know. It think with the bad PR that the Bombers are getting over this, I think a lot of other clubs will back off a bit, and reassess how they handle people of faith.

Metaxas hits the underlying issue with the Western Church as a whole right now. To me it boils down to complacency, and the Church's inaction is either due to fear of losing a quality of life being currently enjoyed by the congregation (and pastors), or just straight laziness of the saints. Once this hurtle is overcome, the true Church will emerge. This is the Church which will march straight into battle with the Lord Jesus at the End of Days. Francis Shaeffer made similar points in his book, "The Great Evangelical Disaster." Another good read.

I've traded-in calvinistic presbyterian churchiness "sermons" for listening to Pastors Alan, Brett Meador and Gary Hamrick for true heart-felt and powerfully honest and encouraging "teachings". I still believe in 2 Cor 5:19 but am beginning to understand and realize my responsibility to continue to confess with my mouth using my 1st amendment right to speak the truth against the subtle evil permeating our society from every direction. It seems the gates of hell have been thrown open and I can't imagine that *_Now_* isn't the final hours for the church on earth. Perhaps this is exactly what Jesus Yeshua was referring to with regard to the 10 virgins, half of whom didn't think they'd need to bring extra lighting oil, maybe their failure to recognize the need for light equals failure to recognize the darkness all around them. I pray and ask for the Holy Spirit to awaken, bring wisdom and empowerment to know the truth and do it. He is my strength, honor and power. Fear be damned!

If church leaders/pastors/priests do not talk their flock about how the Lord Our Savior relates to today’s issues, then they are misguiding them! Their job is to teach, protect, defend and nurture their flock with God’s truth! They will be held accountable by their Father in Heaven!! Shame on them!!

Praise God my pastor "gets it" and speaks truth in the public on current events but he emphasizes believers must be filled with Holy Spirit and therefore be bold, courageous and righteous in a decadent, evil culture ! Thankfully, we are growing in attendance from all ages because people are opening their hearts, minds and souls to serving God Almighty !

That will be the place to go to before the pole flip. That is what they are afraid of. They want to save their lives from what is coming. Not many will survive the supernova or the darkness when the power grid goes down. Thinking 🤔 that many don’t realize what’s happening with our sun and our planet and the surrounding planets. So much is being hidden from the public…. Yes much is being exposed but I think the government is hiding something bigger than we know! However God is our source and we are eternal spirits. I’m not afraid to be transformed into my new body. However… many need to know Jesus loves them. They need to come alive in Him. I believe we need to wake up the hearts that have been hardened by loving the unlovable. Forgive the unforgivable!

We are blessed to have a pastor who has always aligned us with biblical Truth and never shied away. Bit he's becoming more and more bold, speaking about our responsibility to steward our gift of citizenship and how to do that with a biblical worldview. He's becoming more fearless and I'm so proud of him and this video encouraged me to send him an email thanking him and letting him know we stand with him in prayer. S. Moody wonderfully said!!!! My husband and I and many other members have left our church because the pastor will not talk about this stuff!!! And he's allowed a man who is dressed like a woman in the church!!! We've spoken out against this, to be shut down and told we're wrong to not accept this!!!! Yes, finally a Messenger I have been researching for info on this subject. Thank you for clarity. What can we plan to do next? I refuse to be wedded to the government as it exists now on these issues. This is Biblical wake-up! Sound the trumpets! People generally are wedded to the government thru financial programs. What are steps to clarity and clear up for the multitudes of non-seekers. I have studied the Holocaust, toured the Museum in D.C. We must wake up! Thank you. Give us direction.
