My friend Bart gave me this amazing rendition of I am not forgotten by Isreal and new Breed. He said he wanted to here me play some gospel music so here it is. I took 3 takes . He sent me the track 2 days ago I listened to the track then played to it 3 times. And I uploaded here just for you. You can, you can do anything you put your mind to, be a good person first and foremost, practice every day even if it’s only a few minutes, and constantly post stuff and meet and surround yourself with likeminded people and one day you’ll get there for sure💪🏾🙏🏾 don’t forget to walk with and know God, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!!!!

@@Jeremy_Sims yes, that is true. Technique is there to be able to play anything that one hears in the moment. It's just sad if it is all technique and no passion. Reminds me of an album that I still have to listen to: Protomatyr - No Passion, All Technique Not sure if related..

@@Nowhy Yes. This is one of my biggest reservations about some drummers lauded as "the best". Flawless and fantastic technique, yet not backed with enough passion, heart and soul. Relatively speaking, its like listening to a drum machine vs a human being. Depending on the genre, one doesn't need to always go ham... just sound and feel brilliantly human.

Nobody on earth could touch a young Dennis Chambers, Eric has gone to another level though, let's not forget, without Dennis, there are no Gospel Drummers. He changed everything while bringing credibility, talent and a groove that obviously has influenced Mr Moore!
