"there is a theme but no one really follows it" is an understatement. My wife and I went a couple of years ago and dressed up all throwbackish and halfway to the track we realized that literally no one even cared about the throwback. It was neat though seeing peoples reaction to us and taking pictures. but definitely way too hot for that honestly.

I've been a Jimmie Johnson fan since the early beginning of his career, and I won't lie. When I seen both the 9 and 88 going around, it brought back so many memories! Especially Bowman's, I loved that paint scheme, it all brought back so many memories to where, I just couldn't stop smiling, I miss the lowe's 48 days, you never think they would end, until they do! But of course, you simply can't go without, mentioning the man himself, Jimmie's paint scheme, possibly my most favorite of the throwbacks he has ever done. Not to mention, this just shows, the amount of class Jimmie has, the classic class of Jimmie Johnson.

The Harvick scheme is also a tribute to the past Busch Series champions pre 2008. Im not a harvick fan but that scheme is my favorite and i wouldn't mind seeing it in victory lane. Also love the Johnson 2006 and 2009 throwbacks.

In my opinion, Alex Bowman’s Throwback is the greatest throwback since Dale Jr’s Budweiser throwback at Homestead.

Saw the reveal of the Jimmie Johnson’s throwback. The combo was genius. Shear genius. JJ seems to always pull off amazing throwbacks. His 2018 throwback when he shaved his beard and I believe the team went retro on the fire suits. What a class act!!!

My favorites are Harvick Chastain Hamlin Blaney Kyle Busch All of the HMS cars (Johnson, Elliott, Byron and Bowman) Truex Logano Suarez Custer Yeley Erik Jones and Brad Keselowski and the 2 RCR cars as well as the Newman, Bowyer DiBenedetto, JH Nemechek and Timmy Hill

The Spire Motorsports/Ross Chastain #77 throwback is best in my opinion. When they unveiled it during Dale Jrs podcast he said that they used actual gold leaf for the numbers. Yes, Dale Sr did run the #77 Hi-Gain Chevy Laguna in 1976 and this throwback is spot on for that car!

Kyle's is cool because he's being sponsored by just plain M&Ms. It's so rare (if ever?) that there are normal M&Ms on his car, usually a variant: peanut, caramel, pretzel etc.

My favorite throwbacks are Alex Bowman, Ross Chastain, and the GMS Racing trucks. My least favorite is Daniel Suarez car, I really don’t like it that he threw it back to him self, so as Christopher Bell. But all in all these throwbacks look great!

18 m&ms throwback reminds me of Elliott Sadlers car as well as Ricky rudds 2007 car where m&ms went out and stepped up to sponsor the 38 and added some to the 88

Paul Menard also won a busch series race in this car and Menards has been sponsoring teams for years so they are definitely significant even if maybe he is not a superstar

The worst is the plain red car but the dale earnhardt early paint scheme. That rocks, I'll order one of those for car collection.
