This was great. Trevor always comes to the channel with something new :-). It would be great if you (Eric) could put a super slow-motion, side by side of you hitting the ball vs going through the drill. I'm sure that all of us are curious how aligned your hitting swing was vs your drill swing - just a thought.

Wow, one of the best drills I've ever seen! I'm personally not a believer in exaggerated drills (at least they don't work for me). I'd rather learn the golf swing the way bank tellers are taught to spot counterfeits. They study real bills over and over and over. This drill is fantastic from that perspective. Thank you!

If you want to geek out, AMG has a video about this using GEARS, clearing the hips. Another way to think about it. Move the right hip, and then pivot on the right hip joint. Or push into the wall with right cheek, then push PAST the wall with your left cheek.

Aside from all the negative comments in re his jogger pants and hydration video overlays, these drills to hold backswing and downswing angles are excellent. They mirror the Craig Hansen world class golf videos with the excellent pro angles held in a great golf swing. It’s an excellent drill and video when implemented

Where do you get an IRange stick? Never heard of it before. Also that medal extension rod that runs parallel to the ground. I have an issue also of moving slightly forward towards the ball during my swing. This has caused shanks and heal hits. Probably due to my potbelly and small feet.

Oh man yeah this is the crucial slot move right here. The move that syncs everything up. And I swear there was some master conspiracy to keep this a secret my entire childhood. Nobody mentioned it. Until the chair heard round the world. Even most/all tour pros leave it out when explaining their swings. Anyway guys thanks for defying the conspiracy! Invaluable stuff!

Hi eric. You mention the belt buckle moves further away from the stick. Does the left hip stay were it is? When i rotate my right hip back and keep my left hip were it is? It feels that my weight goes to my trail heel. I can nearly lift my toes up. Is this correct. ? I dont want to over do it. Stephen

@CogornoGolf
@CogornoGolf 10 ай бұрын
Hey Stephen! That is correct! I would just film yourself when you do it so you can see and confirm. If you set the stick up in front of hips and just slightly avoid it going back that should be good. Weight should go to trail heel for sure I would need to see to say for sure if you're doing it correct...being able to lift toes may be too much

Great for a 20-year-old body that's as flexible as a rubber band, but for the rest of us this is totally impractical. Need more swing mechanics that work for senior golfers, even Tiger had to change his swing since his body doesn't move like it used to.

@@CogornoGolf absolutely mate, every time I look at a golf video I think, that’s me, I do that. Then get myself all contorted into different shapes and angles. My long suffering wife thinks I’ve lost the plot most of the time. And she’ll ask me ‘why do you keep going back”? I’ve tried to explain the feeling of that ONE flushed shot a round that tells us there’s a golfer in there somewhere.. hehehe Keep up the great work, I’ve picked up many a nugget in your videos.. still playing off 11 tho, but at 58 I’m ok with that..

Hey guys before promoting HYDRATION.... you seriously cannot think adding 1000mg of SODIUM supplement is going to keep a golfer hydrated . WOW
@MrCatsailor
@MrCatsailor 10 ай бұрын
explain why not please
@Cryptonomics7
@Cryptonomics7 10 ай бұрын
The 1000mg of SODIUM is in the form of sodium chlroide- aka Salt. This is the same thing you season your food with or find in highly processed foods. @@MrCatsailor Salt does not hydrate it actually dehydrates you. It is good for restoring electrolytes, but this type of concentration is more slat than you would find in a large pepporoni pizza. Seems to me the creators are trying to make you more thirsty, so you use more of this product without knowing its the thing making you MORE THIRSTY.

@@Cryptonomics7 Anyone playing golf in THIS heat could easily loose much more than 1000mg through sweat.
@Cryptonomics7
@Cryptonomics7 10 ай бұрын
well all things considered- a person daily MAX salt intake should be no more than 2300mg of salt per day and on avg around 1,500 milligrams daily. If you are sweating out more than this - you shouldnt even be on the course. Keep in mind there is salt coming in from other sources before your round in terms of foods as well. 2 or more packs of this may easily have someone in the ER as well. There are other ways to hydrate without consuming this much sodium is my only point. @@kd6507
