This is a great video and I think it actually summarises/combines at least 3 other videos of yours. Don't get me wrong, I like the other ones for deep dives but this combines a few concepts (right shoulder down/left leg up, straight arms through impact, closing club face etc.) for us instead of letting us do it (and since we aren't pros we might not combine concepts correctly). Thank you!

Eric you’ve done it again! This is my exact problem that I am having now with the early extension/chicken wing that is causing me to be so inconsistent with my shots. I’m going to work on these drills asap. Thank you so much

If it helps, I start every range session with 3/4 “punch shots” to help with this. I find you’re more committed to staying ‘through the ball’. Give it a try!

I just watched a vedio where you talked about back shoulder and back hip going down . Then to keep from hitting behind the ball you need to add rotation plus a slight bend in the trail arm. Now you are saying straighten the trail arm. I'm a little confused??

Hey Carl! Sorry for any confusion.... OF course the arm HAS to straighten.....the WHEN matters.... I think my major back problems subconsciously keeps me from maintaining side bend on the downswing. I do the best I can.

Hey Matt! For sure....how you can/cannot move in everyday life will certainly effect how you move when you swing... If you can't side bent as much you will need to throw the right arm a bit more/sooner to get down to the ground..... Thats OK.... Sometimes I will just move ball position back like an inch incase low point too far back when doing that.

I bought a brand new Yonex Adx 300 Driver (carbon head), took it home and my roommate swung it in the house and put the head right through the globe of the ceiling fan light. Scratched it really bad. That ad with you swinging inside reminds of that.

Please explain how the wrists move for "throwing the club." Is this movement intentional or does it just happen as you swing the club? How does the "throwing" motion differ from "flipping?"

Can we use the same drills with a driver? Really now struggling with early extension and low point way too forward with driver even if not having the problems with irons.

But it looks like you're losing that right wrist angle at impact.

Yep.....watch again how I explain the "punch" part and how the right ARM and right WRIST will be STRAIGHTENING......STRAIGHTENING....through impact. Not fully straight until 45* past impact but on the way there.....thats true for both right arm and wrist
