Sad that the Hooter's partnership ended but at least they went out on top by winning a race. At least we saw 1 Kulwicki tribute in that scheme.

It's a pity that Hooters has left NASCAR as a whole now. But at least they went out as a winning sponsor. From Kulwicki's 1992 season to Chase Elliott's most recent win. To my knowledge, they have 4 wins to their name in Cup, which is more than can be said for others. Thank you for the memories Hooters!

Truex also got wrecked on the last lap last night. He was making his way back into the top 10 even after the pit, if you watch the replay, and even passed Denny, but somehow he got turned into the outside wall. NBC didn't really show it or cover it, but if you look at the white flag shot as Logano and Reddick are crossing it, you can see Truex in the background smoking and up against the wall. He finished as the last car on the lead lap. Painful last two laps.😔

Something to point out is Brad Keselowski hasn’t had the best on track relationship with Austin Dillion. In a race at New Hampshire a year ago during a caution Brad thought Austin Dillion made contact with him and in return Brad gets frustrated and rams him.

I really want Deegan to be good, but she just hasn't performed anywhere near what is expected of her. I'd love to say, "Put her in one of the SHR Xfinity cars and she would do great!" but I just can't justify her getting a better ride when shes underperformed in every full time seat she's been in.

As bad as it is that Logano is locked in the playoffs with how bad he's been this season, I almost wish Zane Smith would have won. I mean, we almost got just that. A guy who's 34th in points would have been locked into the playoffs.... The "win and your in" era needs to stop. We already have Cindric and Suarez locked in, and I'm sorry if either if them are your favorite driver, but they don't deserve to be locked in. A win absolutely should mean more, but there are better solutions than just automatically locking someone in to the post season.

I'd argue otherwise with Logano Skeptical as I am on that fuel save, if it's legit then Logano has balls that would make Chastain's look like grapes. Staying out an extra two restarts after the field came to pit road, betting on making it despite being 30 over the fuel window, outsaving Briscoe by more than 3 laps, and all the while Wallace was lurking back to take a huge points lead if Logano ran out of fuel. Performance-wise no, but that 22 team has a ballsy driver and a ballsy crew chief which more than earned them a playoff berth and if they manage to peak in the playoffs like they did in 2022 then Sliced Bread may soon be a Triple-Decker NASCAR Cup Champion

As a Logano fan, its is kinda funny how good Paul Wolfe's strategy was. Over the past couple months, other Logano fans have called for Wolfe to be replaced after some questionable strategy calls. Going back to Sonoma, he pitted from the lead when nobody else did... ended up wrecking and ruining a good chance with a good car. At Iowa, decided to take 2 tires when taking four would've probably resulted in a better finish. Last week, Wolfe made Joey pit when it wasn't really necessary, Joey ended up being back in traffic and wrecking with Chase Elliott (Yes, I know the wreck was Logano's fault but it could've been avoided if he was near the front.) Plus other questionable calls throughout the season, it almost felt like Wolfe's spot at Penske was in some danger. He definitely saved the season for himself and the team

When a sponsor don't pay the bills to a team. The logos and letterings is peel off and dumped in the trash. Hendrick had to end their relationship with Hooters because of the changing economic status. Don't worry Elliott and Hendrick has other sponsors to fall back on.

I think a lot of food chain sponsors will have struggles, big market shifts happening in the food service industry, and cuts will need to be made.

Sad that you did not mention, Hooters sponsorship is responsible for Ryan Blaney meeting his long time girlfriend, she was a Hooters girl at one of the races for Chase when they met.

The reason why Logano won was because of the size of the fuel tanks. The fords size is barely bigger than the Toyotas and chevys with the chevys having the smallest. Hence why the chevys ran out of gas before everyone else. We have to remember while the next gen has the same parts, a ford, Chevy, and Toyota have different perks to them. Good job to Logano for saving the appropriate amount of gas tho. Still a heck of a feat.
