Vor meinem ersten Kontakt mit Erich von Däniken war mein Bewusstsein sehr eng und eingeschränkt. 1997 war ich als Soldat während der Oder-Flut mit vielen Kameraden daran beteiligt die Deiche dort mit Sandsäcke zu sichern. Ein Kamerad der kurz vor seiner Abreise aus dem Katastrophengebiet stand, hat mir damals ein Buch in die Hand gedrückt und gesagt, lies das mal..... Das Buch hieß , "Reise nach Kiribati"....Wenn dieses Buch mein Bewusstsein nicht verändert hätte , würde ich hier heute nichts schreiben... Meinen persönlichen Dank an Herrn von Däniken , Sie haben neue Horizonte erschaffen , wie kaum ein Anderer...Mögen Sie lange und gesund leben, und vor allem noch erfahren dass sie Recht hatten...

I just could not like this man more. One of the first books I read on our ancient history and the alien connection, if not the first, was Chariots of The Gods. He is like the storytelling Grandfather, who you never want to leave, who teaches you more than anyone one else can, and in less than half the time. Love his videos.

Thank you Erich. I read you book “Chariots of the Gods” when I was in High School in 1969. It was the only book I actually read from cover to cover at the time. You planted a seed for me to explore with an open and discerning mind which I have done all my life. Adding a mix of exploring Flat Earth only recently is quite challenging I must say and raises so many more questions. There is so much marvellous mystery in this realm.

I read his book chariots of the gods, years ago...and was hooked. It was a book I gave my kids to read.

I was given this book by an old friend "John B" at my dad's funeral. It changed my whole thinking of life. What a book. Obviously things move on and now with all the crazy alien programs it's hard to find any truths but I find that Eric gets much more right than wrong.

I remember reading your book in the late 1960s shortly after first seeiing it at a book store. Chariot of the Gods was a first in bringing these mysteries out into the view of the general public. Although I always questioned the alien narrative I greatly appreciated being exposed to these new concepts.

To Mr. Von Daniken- I have a clue about ancient aliens: for 40 years I’ve followed the teachings of Abraham, “a group of nonphysical beings.” Abraham was once said “we saw that humans spent all their time feeding yourselves. So we sent in the technicians. You won’t see them…” To me this supports the entire ancient alien theory. And our realization that UFOs are everywhere! 😊
