it didn't George is only bitter cuz Erik turned down his offer to be on George's show which later got cancelled after that week Estrada had mentioned. i can see why he mighta had beef with Erik in that case, but at least Estrada tried to make amends n attempted shake his hand which he did not. My dad was the type who would NEVER watch a Telenovela but pops LOVED watching “Dos Mujeres Un Camino” with my mom. 😂 He worked in the service industry in Hollywood for many years and he told me that one of the coolest celebrities he would run into was Erik Estrada and that he would always be kind and say hello. I believe every word of this interview.

I'm latino came to this country in 1979 and Eric Estrada was the first latino I saw on a television series CHiP's and felt like I could see myself in him and that I could make it in this country. I love the show CHiP'S and fell in love riding motorcycles. I like the way he didn't hold back about George Lopez.

Man, I have to say, I met Erik Estrada at the Orlando airport, I think it was 2011 or 2012. He is one of the most friendly cool guys ever. He sat with me and my friend for at least 20 minutes and was so friendly. They called for our flight to leave and he actually stood up with us, shook our hands and gave us a real hug. Great human being. George Lopez is the exact opposite, horrible person.

I met Erik Estrada in the 90's along with his two sons I ask him for autograph he was so humble n he even shook my hand, I saw George Lopez at a car show at San Fernando High School he ignored the crowd, Danny Trejo was there too he took pictures with his fans and made small talk. I'm sure George Lopez is a real nice guy when he wants to be..

Got Erik Estrada's autograph in 79 in Beverly Hills as a 7 year old! Still have it to this day! Estrada was an ass! I was part of a crew of AT&T telephone installers in the early '80s, working on a certain multi-millionaire's $8 million home upgrade in Studio City, when her then 'boyfriend' Erik Estrada came a calling. (I won't name the woman in this story.) I was under/behind her bed, attaching phone wires along the baseboard, while she was in the bathroom, with the door closed, when Estrada came in, saw my legs sticking out from under the bed, and accused her of having some sort of sordid affair and hiding me under the bed! I guess he missed the six AT&T vans and multiple employees around the house, or he was just trying to prove to her how 'macho' he could be! Regardless, I wasn't intimidated, she dressed him down in front of a crew of phone guys, and he sheepishly admitted he may have been mistaken! Well, duh! So much for Mr. Macho! - I never met Lopez, so I can't comment about him.

I never met Erik, but in 78 or 79' they were filming at San Fernando park. My brother and cousin were riding their bikes around the set, and the set director yelled at them to get off the set. Erik also yelled at them to get off. His partner was there too. I always thought Erik was an ahole since then, but now I could understand why he yelled from afar, for our safety from the stunts and chase scenes. Wouldn't want to accidentally wander into those chase scenes as a naive kid and get hurt. Erik, never met you, but you were always my favorite character in that show. I'm sure you meant well warning my brother, and I'm sure you're a great down to earth man. God bless brother.

We saw George Lopez at the Brea Atrium and after the show he was signing autographs and we tried to talk to him and he didn't say anything to us like thanks or I'm glad you enjoyed the show , after all that I knew he wasn't a nice guy ! We saw Eric Estrada in a mobile home park in fountain Valley driving his gold Rolls-Royce and he said hello to us , he was there actually visiting a friend , he always had the reputation of being a down to earth guy!, I still remember his personal license plate PAPO 4

Back in 1980 Eric was the grand Marshall for a Christmas parade in Downtown L.A. I remember working as an usher for a theater, and when he passed by all the girls went crazy. He was nice enough to shake my hand, and give me his autograph. To bad smart phones didn't exist back then.

Omg, I have loved Eric Estrada since I was very young, I still watch Chips and I just saw him on According To Jim just the other day, I have seen that episode of According to Jim many times. Every time I watch it and CHIPS I get butterflies and I get so excited, I think I would faint and die if I saw Eric Estrada or probably cry like I'm doing now. Lol. I have always wanted to meet Eric Estrada.

3:55 I dont understand. Erik tried to make amends by telling George that he was sorry "IF" he didnt shake his hand. And it sounded like he was being really sincere. But for George to do that is not in good taste. They both could have settled it right there. Ihave respect for both men who are pioneers. Just hope George can see what he did.. *God Bless*

George Lopez talked about Erik Estrada on Countryish with Jon Reep. The beef is Erik was filming chips near George's house and he was driving with his friend and noticed him. Erik was in a phone booth making a call when he finished George said hello and tried shaking his hand. Erik said something like leave me alone and George has been pissed since then. George mentioned the fight Erik proposed and he threatened to sue.

Erik Estrada is better. He actually wanted to be an American (nothing was more American than 'CHiPs'), rather than keep playing up the 'Hispanic' angle every 10 seconds. Good looking, good dancer, action hero who was a hit with the ladies. Erik Estrada is way better than George Lopez (who isn't even funny).

I met Erik Estrada at frys electronics... he conversed with all the frys employees. He had his police officers badge. He was cool. I still love George Lopez.
