De muzikale scheppingsdrang van Erik Neimeijer leidt komend jaar tot de release van een album bij Goomah Music. Jarenlang was Neimeijer de energieke en creatieve kracht achter de populaire band Bökkers, waarmee hij een vaste plek in de top2000 veroverde en alle grote podia van Nederland aandeed. Ook is hij bekend van de formatie Lorrainville, waarmee hij als zanger en liedjesschrijver een Edison won. Ondertussen kreeg hij als beeldend kunstenaar steeds meer (inter)nationaal succes. Na zijn afscheid van Bökkers richtte hij zich op de muziek die hem het meest aan zijn hart gaat. Met hulp van bassist en tekstschrijver Peter Slager (Blof), Sven Hammond en drummer Jeroen Hobert neemt hij in 2022 zijn debuutalbum op. Het resultaat is soulvol en uplifting en met zijn stomende liveband zal Erik Neimeijer de festivals van 2023 platspelen.
