Manchester United got all the 3 points as they defeated Manchester City 2-1 at Old Trafford in the English Premier League with goals from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford.

The fact that we had no focal point after half time too helped City get a foothold as well as the tactical change Pep made to put Walker central and have KdB drop wide and deep. We need a new CF in the summer. I'm confident Weghorst will be a success but if we can get someone like Kane or his ilk, I'd be happy. Most important thing is to give Erik what he wants

@@limaontoby3300 the obvious threat was halaand. There was a huge space between varane and AWB so he had to close it and cover halaand. Football isn't about staying with your man 24/7 it's about reading of the situation and doing the best possible action to reduce the probability of the other team scoring which is what he did.

Our play was so much different without Martial in the second half. People want to see Martial press the keeper like a mad dog but dont realise his intelligent positioning helped kept our team shape

Fred has been a different player since coming back from the WC. I'll admit i was his biggest critic. Playing alongside Casemiro has really helped his confidence, he had a great game. Still, terrible haircut tho.

2 things happened. 1) Ericsson coming out and Was Bissaka started the fight back with his movements with the ball and that shot he had. That lifted the crowd and his teammates.

I have been waiting for this analysis since 8AM my time, Kenyan time. Great team play yesterday. Pastor Fred man marked KDB, Luke Shaw pocketed Hallaand, as in everyone turned up for the game. Our equaliser was a great goal. Rashford never interfered with the play. There was a MCFC player in front who could have cleared it. I just love ETH, Manchester United is my heaven on earth. Arsenal is next.

Sensational win, sensational performance from the boys, mastermind Erik Ten Hag what more can I say, it was just a joy to watch I even got goosebumps watching this game wow! Can I say my team is back people?? We deserve to win, I can say we are also a title contender, not just the top 4. Arsenal is yet to take on Man City both home and away, all we need is to maintain our momentum and capitalize on any mistake made by Arsenal and Man City. Very nice analysis. I personally think there were two other reasons why United lost the first game against City. *Tominay was horrible and usually performs poorly against elite opposition. In that game, he wasn't mobile enough, left a lot of spaces which the City players brutally exploited and generally played badly. The truth is that TOMINAY IS NOT A DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER AND WILL NEVER BE. He's more of a box to box midfielder and this includes Fred. If Casemiro started that game, even if United were going to lose, it wouldn't be up to conceding six goals. Fred plays as a box to box midfielder for Brazil while Casemiro is the standing defensive midfielder. United has been screaming out for a proper defensive midfielder for years and the squad now has one... Casemiro who is world class and arguably the best defensive midfielder in the English Premier League. *Sancho played on the left of United's attack and offered next to nothing going forward. He also failed to track back to support Malacia when United didn't have the ball... talk about lazy Football and you are right concerning Sancho in that game in particular. I am not surprised that Ten Hag is trying mould Sancho into a better player that will help the team with or without the bal because he's definitely got the talent to succeed at United. I totally agree with your analysis. Ten Hag made every member of the team pressing machines. His selection of Fred was a tactical masterclass. His starting eleven was spot on. Even his "game management" was quite impressive. He got his substitutions right and timely. I saw a United team that exhibited tenacity, high level of mobility, winning mentality (because he's brought in players with potential on how to win), and a fighting spirit. It takes a very strong team to still have belief after going down to City by a goal. Ten Hag needs to be supported. I am glad he now has a new striker at least till the end of the season. I see United winning at least one of the Cups and finishing in the top four. Well-done my friend for giving us another good analytical explanation of United's victory over City.👍🏽☺️

I read a stat that said united has won most of their games when they score first but only once where they conceded first and i was worried, like i wanted united to score first so badly, then they scored first and i was like, we are done, second half start was horrible and we didn't have any occasion but i should have never doubted united, they actually did against the odds, crazy team really !!!!

I was born and grew up in Derby and then football never interested me (as a young child), until 1968 (aged 10) I watched on TV Manchester United destroy Benfica in the European Cup and I was hooked and all my life I have loved Manchester United very passionately. Naturally Manchester United DOMINATED the 1990s which was wonderful, but sadly since Sir Alex Ferguson retired they slipped back. However since Eric Ten Haag has come to Manchester United they are a team reborn - instilled with discipline and team work. Yesterday's victory against Chitty was marvelous, brilliant, inspired with greatness - such a delight. I truly believe Manchester United are back now after 6 months under Eric Ten Haag playing incredible football again. The future is red and Manchester is red again. Your videos man are wonderful - the very finest on You Tube. I adore your videos man. Long live Manchester United - the greatest football team in the whole wide world!

You hit it on the dot brother….loved how you focused on our defensive transition through to our attack…that was the key…not only did we let them not play freely…we transitioned while being compact…. AWB and Malacia deserve all that praise…but aside Rashy and Bruno…our Brazilian duo ran that game for most parts…our midfield engine is secure for the recent future…and that makes me so damn happy….
